« The room was clean, shower very powerful, needs a non slip tray, which I have suggested to the team. Bar very well stocked, although the day I arrived they had run out of sherry. I only dined on the first day, very good, pub style food, if a trifle expensive as compared to say the Exeter Inn in Modbury. Breakfast was good, service fine, staff friendly and efficient. »

« The staff were very helpful and accommodating, assisting with calling taxis and holding luggage. The included breakfast was tasty and plentiful, the only drawback was it ended at 9:00am. Our shared family room was a nice size with two televisions and good wifi but in the height of summer it got a little warm. The location is beautiful and relaxing. »

Staff were very friendly and helpful, even when I’d asked about a bowling club in Modbury that a family member used, the lovely bar staff said she’d find out for me. Fantastic full English with great sausages. Nothing seemed too much trouble Thanks for a great stay at a difficult time. »

« Absolutely faultless, Jez is a lovely host and went above and beyond to fulfill our needs. He addressed us by name every time and even offered me tablets for my headache which was beyond my expectations. The room was well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. There was no noose heard from other guests at all. Breakfast was of very good quality and the flavours were amazing and was just the right size to start off the day. We will definitely be returning. »
