So much space!
It was great having such a large space for our families to enjoy. A previous review noted that the water dispenser in the refrigerator was not working. During our stay, the water dispenser worked on the first day and then stopped working. Also noted in previous reviews is that as big and well-stocked with cooking tools that the kitchen is, it could use an update. The lower oven worked better than the upper one (in contrast to the last review, but in agreement with an older one...) one of the cabinet doors under the sink has a broken hinge... Something helpful was the labels on the light switches, which eliminated a lot of guess work! The master bathroom could also use an update. The photos are accurate, so we knew it was outdated, but the shower ceiling needs cleaning, and dirt etc goes unnoticed on the black surfaces. We could not get the downstairs TVs to work correctly. The most frustrating issue was entering the gated community using the number box. The code we were given only worked about half the time... The fact it worked at all is how we knew we were using the box correctly, although all the directions on the box itself are all worn off. We were also given 2 different codes for the door to the house and only one worked. That said, the property as a whole is gorgeous. Unfortunately we had bad weather the length of our stay, but it was still a beautiful view and plenty to do in the house while our families spent time together making new memories.

Beautiful Property
We enjoyed several days of R&R at this property. There was plenty of space and beds throughout the house and the yard, lakefront and fire-pit were the best parts. The kitchen could use a refresh - the lower oven is broken and the ice maker and water dispenser on the refrigerator were broken. Several of the lights (cabinet, overheads seemed not to be working). The grill worked great! Overall, it is a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Amazing stay, awesome management
This was our second year at the Red Rock and it did not disappoint. The place is perfect for the 5 families we vacation with and it's perfect for kids with a huge beachfront. Everytime we had a question for management the local contact was available and quick to respond and help. We couldn't find the paddle board paddles and within the next hour, someone dropped some off for us. It was great and we will be back next year for sure!

Everything about this house is amazing! Location is perfect, private beach, low traffic cove, beautiful well-kept home, nice neighborhood for walks and runs, amenities were plentiful! I would rent this place again!

Great House - Great Location
This house is even bigger in person! Lots of space for everyone to do what they want to do! Great private beach and the cove is perfect for paddle boarding, floating and fishing off the pier. We caught catfish and blue gills. The kitchen is well appointed and the house was spotless when we checked in. We had a small issue with the master bedroom sink, but Vacasa Property management was easy to get a hold of and the problem was fixed quickly. Super friendly customer service as well as the tech that came to fix it. Renting a pontoon from Duke's Marina is a must to explore the lake. Cannot wait to rent this place again.

Huge House!
Our family of 8 adults and a dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Rock Retreat and look forward to returning next summer. The house was huge and everything in the listing photos was there. The landscaping was stunning, and a fox would periodically meander across the yard. We especially liked the beach area accessed by the 2 walkways. There were lounges for the sun worshippers and shade as well. (although we only had sun for 4 of our 9 days.) The fishing was good – caught enough catfish and bass for fish tacos. The gazebo was a hit for quiet reading. The inside of the house was beautiful and very clean. The WIFI worked perfectly for our college student. The printer in the bedroom photo was not available, but he brought his own. We played some of the available games. There was plenty of storage, and the 3 refrigerators were great. The kitchen was very well stocked, except for no baking sheets or large pizza pans. There was a combo drip and Keurig coffee maker. Pots and pans were good quality. We suggest you add more silverware. The occupancy is listed at 16, so there should be enough forks, spoons, knives for all. We discovered the upper oven needs attention. It was very slow to bake in. The bottom oven worked well. The AC was very uneven in the house. The upstairs, particularly the master suite was freezing, but downstairs was stuffy at night. We had a lot of rain and issues with roof leaks. Breanna from Vacasa was vigilant about getting help to address

Lake House Family Vacation 10/10!
I was nervous about booking this house without ever having been to Lake Anna. I wasn't sure what the lake would be like and what the property's access to the lake would look like. I am very happy to report that the house access is amazing and the lake is beautiful! The house has its own beach and dock and the water is clear and clean. The swim area is not overly rocky or mossy and the I had no anxiousness about the kids swimming and jumping from the dock. The house itself is wonderful and fit all 14 of us with no problems. The kitchen is completely stocked so no need to worry about cooking or feeding a large group. We really enjoyed the paddle boards. I was so happy to see these when we got there because they are not specifically listed as available. The group really enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table as well! I also really liked the big backyard area. We brought our own cross net volleyball and frisbee bottle game and had plenty of room to set up and play. It was also relatively shady in the grass area which was very nice. Overall I rate the house a 10/10 and the lake access a 10/10! I would have no hesitation booking this house again for another family gathering!

Overall good experience
The property is really nice - great views, nice beach area and dock set up, and spacious. They forgot to give us the gate key and gave us the wrong door code originally. There are a ton of amenities they offer but most of them are broken. Pool sticks were unusable, coffee maker leaked everywhere, paddle boat couldn't turn, tons of DVDs with a player that didn't have AV cords etc. Felt like paper products were slim and had to use our own, but it was nice having a lot of cookware and spices available in the kitchen. I get that it's hard to keep nice things in a rental but maybe suggest updating or removing amenities listed. Overall good weekend and experience!
