Deux étages, cinq chambres / quatre salles de bain, mezzanine, piscine de sport, 20 couchages Maison de bois rond entièrement meublée avec piscine de sport 17x31. Cette belle maison en bois est située sur 5 hectares. À l'intérieur de la cabine, vous trouverez une table de billard, une table de baby-foot, 2 réfrigérateurs, 2 fours, Internet, Dish TV, lecteur DVD, baignoire jacuzzi et cheminée. À l'extérieur, volleyball sur sable, fers à cheval, laveuses, balançoire, barbecue au charbon de bois, foyer. Cette maison n’est pas sur l’eau, mais à seulement 500 mètres environ de l’aire commune de Log Country Cove et du lac LBJ. La piscine peut être chauffée hors saison moyennant des frais supplémentaires.

We stayed in the Wood Haven, which exceeded all expectations, 4 adults and 5 kids, and could have had twice that and still been comfortable. The setting was perfect for a relaxing week away with all the amenities you could want, including deer and other wildlife that would come up in the evening. The common area was lots of fun with sand volleyball, peddle boats, fishing, putt-putt, tree swings and a playground. Best of all was just the overall family friendly service and staff that put this place above any others. We’ll definitely be back again.

There were some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. There is a broken towel holder in one of the bathrooms. The pool heater was broken and was not fixed until the last day despite repeated phone calls.

It was really easy to book and the leasing office was very flexible (we originally reserved three houses and were able to change to two when I realized less people were going to come). Everyone had an amazing time. The houses were clean and in great shape overall. This property is great for gathering big groups of people. There are a lot of options to choose from in terms of house sizes/rooms. We could walk to the lake area and were able to use things like canoes, kayaks, paddle boards etc. Everyone really enjoyed that and liked just relaxing in the adirondack chairs and hammocks around the common area. The kids also enjoyed the pools and playground equipment. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Log Country Cove for big groups!

Amazing Family Adventure

Reviewer Comments: We searched high and low for the perfect spot to host a family vacation with ten adults and eleven grandchildren and found the Wood Haven at Log Country Cove to be the ideal match for our needs. Wood Haven sits high on the hill overlooking the rest of the facility, with evening breezes and a gorgeous view of the hill country sunset and night sky. The pool is located just off the back patio, shaded in the late afternoon by a large oak tree. The amenities at the lake provided days of fun for everyone, including kayaking, longboards, swimming, jumping on the water trampoline, and swinging into the water. Seadoo and boat rental is very convenient. There are plenty of shady spots for relaxing and eating and a small sandy beach for the young ones to enjoy. This was 100% a hit with our entire family.

The houses are close enough to walk between and there is a bit of a trail you can follow between the two houses. Everyone was so happy with the accommodations! Wood Haven is perfect for a large group. So many areas to sit and chat inside and outside the house. We saw deer every night of our stay. The pool was great. The house was clean, AC was cold, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly want for cooking. Highly recommend Log Country Cove.

Upon being in formed of this, a maintenance crew came to confirm, pick up the dead bats and disinfect the areas where they died. The maintenance crew also brought spray foam to seal any possible gaps in the structure where they may have gained entry. Upon further investigation, we found several areas that had been previously filled with foam. No further contact was made by the management!
