„Truly enjoyed the views and remoteness of this home. Bedrooms had great comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked and felt like bone away from home. The only recommendation we would make is to have better more comfortable seating with better cushions for the indoor and outdoor furniture. We would absolutely consider coming back if the seating was more comfy.“

„We had a wedding to attend to in nearby Mars Hill. We were actually surprised to find the wedding location was a mere 10 minute drive from the house, so very convenient. The house itself was clean, spacious, and well cared for. Due to the time of year (full leaf foliage) we didn't get the great views the house offers at other times of the year. Nevertheless we very much enjoyed our stay at the house. Love the wrap around porch.“

„This property was everything we could ask for and more! It was clean and exactly as pictured. The game room was awesome to have with a group of us! The driveway is a little scary if you aren't use to mountains, but ultimately really not that bad compared to other driveways around. I loved everything about our trip and the town! Definitely one to save for your future trips!“

„The property is great. From the small garden path (which makes for amazing star gazing in the evening) to lots of space in the house it made for a great landing place during relief work. Great common spaces for groups to come together, but big enough to find your own niche when you needed some downtime. Great communication from host. I would for sure stay again!“

Everything was clean, the view was amazing, plenty of utensils for cooking (and also there were coffee pods, foil, plastic wrap, spices... they have everything you need!) „My wife and I visited 1108 Riddle Branch Road for the 3rd time and it was a very relaxing vacation. The cabin was very clean and the furnishings were extremely comfortable. The hot tub was so relaxing and the mountain views were spectacular! Our host, Mark, took us on a "restoration tour" of Burnsville in his UTV and it is amazing how much progress has been made by local, state and federal authorities on restoring the roadways and bridges. „This property is over 4,000 feet up on the mountain. There are stunning views. The air is cool and we slept with the windows open. There is a steep incline to reach the property and walking up is not for the faint of heart. The property has many antiques, so don't expect modern furnishings, especially in the basement.“
