Lakeside Wolsey Shores Cottage on Manitoulin Island Weekly Sat to Sat Rentals

Wolsey Shores is a relaxing, comfortable cottage retreat set on 1.5 acres with access and great views of Lake Wolsey. Morning sunrises over the lake viewed from the large deck provide the perfect start to days of fun on or beside the water.

The cottage boasts a spectacular elevated lakeshore clearing overlooking the lake including Muskoka chairs, lounge chairs, and a picnic table. The perfect spot to unwind and read your favourite book or soak up the sun with family.

1 week minimum rental Sat-Sat

The cottage is perfect for small groups of 2-4 but also expands to comfortably accommodate larger groups of up to eight adults (max) plus children. Summer rentals are weekly from Saturday to Saturday only - which is the only option available for booking.

The main cottage has two levels. The main level is a perfect retreat for smaller groups and sleeps up to four people. There are two bedrooms on the main floor adjacent to the kitchen, eating area, bathroom, and lounging area that boasts a vaulted ceiling. Groups with children can expand into the lower level of the cottage for sleeping, where we have one bunk bed plus two additional single beds. Larger groups can utilize two very comfortable bunkies located right beside the main cottage that provide two additional rooms with double beds for sleeping.

Time slows at Wolsey cottage, which provides all the modern comforts while enjoying access to water activities and great fishing. The main outside deck has plenty of space and includes lounge seating, a table and chairs, and a BBQ for grilling the perfect supper. The floating dock is perfect for swimming on hot summer days and launching our canoe for trips to explore the lake. A launch for small motor boats is available nearby. The fire pit is located adjacent to the lookout with benches to relax or cook up some marshmallows or hotdogs to unwind after a day of fishing, hiking, or lounging.

Firewood is available free of charge on site for campfires.

Entire property is available for use. Note bookings must be from Sat - Sat, with 1 week minimum stay.

We have a yellow canoe that is available for use by all guests. Paddles and two life jackets are available.

Please note that bed linens, towels, etc are not provided as part of the rental. These should all be brought with you and taken with you when checking out.
