« My husband and I stayed at Cabin on the Lake while in town for our daughter’s dream wedding. It was minutes from restaurants and shopping in Palmer and Wasilla. The view was spectacular and the cabin was the perfect size for us. My husband dozed off on the sofa one afternoon and commented how comfortable it was. The bedroom, living room and bathroom were spacious and there was plenty of closet space as well. Haley was wonderful. Upon arriving at the airport, she texted us dining recommendations...

« Truly the best B&B I have ever stayed at! We only stayed one night but I wish we had planned to stay longer. Not only is this place amazingly beautiful but there is an elevated cozy sitting room too with 360 degree views of the mountains, a sauna, and a game room! We had the most amazing breakfast served to us! I have to mention the cleanliness too. I have extremely high standards for what “clean” is and this place met and exceeded my expectations! 12/10 recommend. »

« Location was perfect for us as we were there for the Arctic winter games. Close to Palmer and Hatcher’s’s pass (beautiful). View from the little kitchen is fabulous.Warm welcome from the host who lives near by and took time to chat. It takes a little practice to figure out when start and stop the fireplace in order to keep an even temperature throughout the night but it is feasible (winter stay). »

« The view from this property is unbelievable and the hosts were very responsive! We enjoyed our stay and found the room quite nice. The bed was very comfortable. Our only observation is that it is quite small and felt a bit cramped at times for a longer stay like ours (a week)... just something to be aware of when you book. »

« Our plane came in very late, and the property manager was excellent in sending instructions and multiple ways to access the property, just in case one way did not working. The property was extremely clean and spacious with plenty of supplies to get us through our week stay. »

« This is one of the most beautiful and amazing places I’ve ever visited. It has a peace of mind and heart that I have never felt. Please go visit. Host are amazing, very friendly people. Very private if you’re looking for something special. I really wish I could have found out about the DVD’s that were available in the rooms. One thing we both felt not so comfortable was once we checked in, the owner asked if we could leave early due to the next guest ask for last minute early check in. I felt kinda intrusive after all years of regular traveling. If next guest ask for early check in, as a owner should come clean early rather than ask guests to leave early… »

« My husband and I work seasonally in Seward, AK and stopped here on our way in and back from there. The view is breathtaking and we enjoyed eating dinner/breakfast on the patio. Room is adorable and well decorated with fresh muffins, a list of activities and restaurants to visit, and plenty of coffee. The bathroom is well stocked and the shower is amazing! We loved staying here and plan on staying every time we come to work in Alaska! »
