We stayed at this VRBO with two seniors, two adults and our two teenage girls and there was plenty of room with the layout. We loved the outdoor access to each room. And the large beautiful kitchen. They has everything we needed for all meals.The pool was used several times daily and we loved that the birds could fly down to use it as well. They never made a mess of the pool.Having front and back access to the beach and road to restaurants and the market was convenient. There is a fallen tree that made it a bit difficult for the seniors to use the back gate.We witnessed monkeys, squirrels, iguanas and many different birds right in the backyard, the sounds were beautiful.The beach was amazing, the sunsets were so brilliant and surreal. Watching the surfers in the sunsets was picture perfect.We even got to witness baby sea turtles that hatched on their way to the ocean. The people here are so kind and informative. We learned so much while here.Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us. We will never forget it. And we hope to be back soon!The Fosters

The house was perfect for our family. We really enjoyed logging by the pool and watching the many birds who come into the back yard. The kitchen has everything you need, and we cooked two dinners at the house during our stay. Kristi was helpful with our questions and had great recommendations on tours, which she helped book for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Lirica is one of the loveliest and best furnished rentals we have encountered in PG. It is immaculate, has a fabulous kitchen, amazing patio and salt water pool, a path in the back to a small market, near the beach and two local restaurants, Mar Azul and Cantarana. It has 4 private king bedrooms with en-suite baths. Each opens to a lovely, large, salt water pool. Not particularly appropriate for families with toddler age children, but perfect for couples or families with older children. There are many homes for rent in PG, but very few of such quality. Highly recommend it.

Great near the beach stay

Second time in PG. Easy and quick walk to surf shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach. 35 minutes to Tamarindo and 15 to Huacas. Hosts are nearby and were very good at communicating and helping us out. Good value. Every room had its own AC which was nice.

The house is as lovely as depicted. Quiet retreat

Awesome place, it is like being in your own private resort. Nice layout, low key area and beach. Hustle and bustle of Tamarindo short water taxi 5 per person or 45 min drive. Get groceries before you arrive, only small stores nearby. A rice cooker or slow cooker would be nice, had to fix a slow sink drain. Area roads are rough. Just what we were looking for, would love to come back back. Great job!!

This is our first trip to Costa Rico and we enjoyed the friendly Pura Vida vibe! Casa Lirica was perfect with all the home amenities such as the outdoor living space and pool! Nice stay

The home and area are close to the beach and many restaurants. There is new construction across from this property (which the owner did communicate to us), but also in the neighborhood which makes for some unwelcome distractions. There is also an alarm system on the property that caused disturbances and issues making it extremely difficult to relax during our first few days but was eventually resolved. Overall a lovely home close to everything you need. Many restaurants close by as well as the beach. Great area

Fantastic Spring Break

The house was great for our spring break vacation. It was the perfect space for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens), plus my parents. Each bedroom has an outdoor exit to the pool area and is not connected to the main living room/kitchen, so be mindful if bringing small children. The pool and back patio were incredibly relaxing. Lots of chirping geckos and bird watching there. Kristi was fantastic. She met us at the house and gave us a tour and several recommendations Serenity Sailing was a blast for sailing and snorkeling, Edwin was incredible for offshore sport fishing, and our adventure day with Alvaro was quite the adventure. The house had everything we needed for our stay, and was just a short walk from the surf shop, small market, beach, and a few restaurants. I'd recommend renting a car to get around as everything else is a bit far to walk. Overall, I'd love to return to Casa Lirica for our next trip to Costa Rica.

Wonderful house and great location

The property was amazing. The 4 bedrooms were almost hotel style - all being accessed from outside around the pool. This worked out well for us as it gave both families and the teenagers some privacy. The kitchen was VERY well equipped with everything and more that we could have ever wanted. The AC worked extremely well in all the rooms and the ceiling fans were wonderful. Great location with 5 minute walk to beach and excellent restaurant/cafes within walking distance. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your home. Our host Kristi was amazing too and gave us lots of excellent information about the area.

Absolute paradise!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt like we were in paradise. The layout of the house is fantastic. We spent most of our waking hours outside. The pool, the gardens, and the trees make for a beautiful property. The house is located in a great community. It’s close to the beach which is absolutely stunning especially at sunset. It’s a short walk to four different restaurants, which we enjoyed throughout our stay. We enjoyed our stay so much that before it was over, I rebooked for our next visit.

Beautiful home excellent for family vacation

Our family of two couples and two individual adults enjoyed a 10-day stay at Casa Lirica. The house is clean, modern, and spacious. The four bedrooms with ensuites were perfect for us. We cooked a number of meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and with several sitting areas, we all had lots of room to relax. The pool is very clean and warmed by the sun. We enjoyed walking on the beach and walking to the small restaurants nearby (all quite good food). The property manager Kristi responded promptly and helpfully to all our enquiries, and helped us connect with a private chef and a couple of fun tours. The area is a little isolated; an inexpensive water taxi crosses the estuary to Tamarindo, but the service ends about 4:30 in the afternoon. It’s good to have a car to visit other areas or to go shopping or to other restaurants. Overall, we highly recommend Casa Lirica. It’s a beautiful area and a beautiful house.

The nicest place we never got to!

Let me explain. There were six of us coming. Ourselves and two other couples. One of our couple friends arrived no problem while we and the other couple did not. Flight delays and cancellations had us unable to fly there until a few days before we would have to pack up and return home. So we lost out on the holiday completely. We were just happy to get all our money back from the airline since the villa and van were a write off. LOL! We did get a video FaceTime call in and a tour of the villa one evening and it looked an absolute dream. So perhaps one day we will try again. As for the one couple that did make it. They loved it! There was everything they needed there and the privacy was fabulous. Loved having the pool and the beach was close enough to visit easily. The fact that there were some bars etc within walking distance was also very nice. Kristi was a gem and the driver Alvaro he was wonderful as well. Based on everything they had to say while they enjoyed the vacation we didn’t get I’d definitely try to come back here some time in the future.

Beautiful house - great for family vacation

The house was perfect for our family of five. My husband and I with our three young adult children. Walking distance to the beach and a few cafes/restaurants. The busier beach and town of Tamarindo is a short boat ride away. A little bit further by taxi but not bad. The house itself provided a ping pong table and cornhole boards for fun and a peaceful pool for relaxing. The separate bedrooms were perfect for our grown kids to each have their own space. Kristi was fantastic to work with and provided guidance on who to call and what adventures to explore. Highly recommend.

We loved our time at Casa Lirica, especially the ability to walk to the beach and the outdoor spaces. We rented bikes and a surfboard just around the corner. The whole community was wonderful!

Outstanding location and excellent concierge assistance.

Property is exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful pool in a friendly area. Outstanding nearby restaurants and food and nearby market for quick supplies. Property Manager/concierge service was excellent with recommendations and introductions to the activities and adventures we were looking for. Location is safe, secure and not overly crowded.

Hidden Gem....

Our family had an amazing time at Casa Lirica. The neighborhood feels so secluded yet there is plenty to do. The beach is just a short walk away as well as a few cafe and bars. If you want to venture to Tamarindo, the boat taxi is right down the street. We enjoyed the pool and the large outdoor living area. We definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful property in great location.

Spent a week at Casa Lirica with myself and 6 kids.Property is in a great location in Playa Grande. The home is about a 7-8 minute walk to the beach. Area is very safe as the neighborhood Palm Beach has security gate along with security patrolling the area. Home has a great kitchen with everything you need. Each of the 4 bedrooms feels like a master having its own en-suite bathroom. Perfect setup for 2-4 couples. Large outdoor living space and pool is great. My kids loved the bags and boards , pool table and even the dumbell free weights. The Playa Grande beach is absolutely stunning. Waves are great for surfing or boogie boarding. But felt very safe for my 9 year old to swim. We hopefully will be back soon. Also. The property manager Krisit was very responsive and met us at the property to give us a run down.
