This review is delayed but necessary! Our experience with this VRBO was nothing short of perfect. The property manager was unbelievably attentive as we had a few hiccups. She responded right away and fixed things immediately - going as far as sending a driver late at night to get our wash and finish drying it at her personal house when the dryer went on the fritz! Other than that amazing service, the house and property are more than we could have imagined. On our first day, we spotted a sloth hanging out in the tree just outside of the pool area, a coati walked through the courtyard one night, so many singing howler monkeys, toucans, parrots, lizards, salamanders and just amazing jungle wildlife. Sitting under the patio roof, listening to music through Alexa and just observing was my favorite part.Despite the unprecedented pouring rain we had for most of our week there, we still had a blast! We became one with the humidity and relished in the massive showers after our jungle expeditions. The fact that we could open the floor to ceiling window/doors and look at banana trees while we showered was sensorily beyond anything I've ever experienced. The short walk to the beach was always filled with discoveries of wildlife or cheerful passersby. There are some stationary beach chairs at the beach entrance that were useful. The ocean was wild while we were there, due to the storms, but it was still incredible. It was truly one of the best experiences we've ever had.
