The house was very nice, in a pleasant suburban community in Airdrie, Alberta. The advertised extra bed in the office to accommodate ten people (in addition to the four upstairs bedrooms) was not present. The host emailed that there was an inflatable air mattress in the utility closet beside the vacuum cleaner and brooms! Who could have known? The beds and bathrooms were good and clean. One bed wobbled and squeaked so much we put the mattress on the floor the second night to get a decent sleep. The tap in the master bedroom ensuite bathtub leaked slowly the whole time we were there. We chose this place partly because there was a promise in the advertisement for a "Highlight" Arcade/Games Room, and a gym - A rare find - fun for all ages". These features, which were a big attraction for us, were so rare that we could not find them. Upon contacting Stan the host in Texas he told us that the basement (where presumably these "Highlight" features were located) was not part of the rental! Stan said that the "Bonus Room" on the second floor was the games room. It contained a sofa and a TV that did not work. Nor did the TV in the living room. And during THE FIFA WORLD CUP! Only six chairs for ten people to sit at the dining table and two bar stools at the kitchen island. The big surprise on our last day was to find a man living in the basement of our "Exclusive Whole House Rental", when his skip the dishes order arrived at our front door! Dishwasher did not drain properly.
