« The hotel was impressively clean. The halls smelled like fresh linens and our room was emaculate. The hotel was quiet inside and in the parking lot. The staff was friendly but there were many men standing in the lobby and just outside the entrance door that did not seem friendly and stared at us as we came and went throughout the weekend. That part was my only complaint as i wasnt sure if their intentions. But, no one bothered us or said anything out of the way either »

« Excellent place to stay. The curbside appearance was not impressive, but the interior was great and the backyard patio and yard were very good. The grill was not clean, so we didn't use it. The location was great for starting and ending my bicycle rides. The house was reasonably close to the water front, restaurants, shopping, and downtown attractions. I even got to sample St Mary's hospital ER, and they took good care of my kidney stone. I guess I wasn't drinking enough water with my outdoor...

« We had a wonderful time walking to shops and visited a brewery in downtown Detroit Lakes. We originally intended to cross-country ski the area, but with no snow and unseasonably warm weather, we involved Plan B with family and simply hung out together. The house was extremely comfortable, well stocked, and exceeded our expectations. Great neighborhood, and great host. »

It's remodeled nicely, had everything we needed and our family ages 10-82 would enjoy coming here again, esp for a whole week! Paul was easy to reach and very accommodating. « My friend and I stayed at this property over the weekend and surprisingly were able to stay within a 2-block radius the entire time. In one direction you have the lake, beach, and bars/restaurants. In the other direction, you have shops, a cafe, co-op, bookstore, brewery, and restaurants. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. For two women, we felt safe the entire time and had a wonderful stay. »
