Lovely home in an amazing location along Lake Superior. Beautiful to look at, rock hunt, nature everywhere. House has everything that you need and very comfortable furniture and beds. Kids never looked at their electronics or tv! Lots to do nearby. This place is a gem.
We were so pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of this property! The views are stunning and the hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Wonderful memories were made! Thank you!!!
Huge kitchen and dining space...almost sorry there were only 2 of us. Lots of room to hang out for TV watchers. I preferred the deck overlooking the lake. Beautiful sunset just out the back door.
My family and I stayed at this beautiful lake front house for a week. We explored the area, visiting various lighthouses, took the Quincy mine tour, visited the Jam Pot, drove up to Copper Harbor for the day, took the ski lift to the top by Lac La Belle lake. We enjoyed the abundance of hiking trails and waterfalls. At night we sat outside under blankets and watched for northern lights and enjoyed the clear skies, stars and the view of the Milky Way. We searched the beaches for agates and colorful rocks during the day and yooperlites at night.
This house was a perfect fit for us and we enjoyed every single moment of our stay. The 3 bedrooms each had comfortable beds with clean sheets and warm comforters. The loft are contained 3 more comfortable beds. The downstairs had an abundance of couches to relax on and a huge dining room table. Love the wooden chairs and the size of the table! The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of towels, soaps, toiletries, pots, pans, dishes and loads of back up paper towels and toilet.paper. Five stars all the way around.
We had a wonderful stay at Artistry. The view of Lake Superior from the deck and master bedroom is outstanding. Even better was seeing the Northern Lights from the deck one night! The location worked well for us, close to Calumet and hiking trails. We hiked 3 different trails that were all just a short drive away.
The house was well stocked with bedding, towels and toiletries. The kitchen was well stocked too.
We never needed to contact the owners, but they gave me their contact information in case I need them.
We will definitely stay again!
Aside from the VERY long distance from the bedroom to the bathroom (OK, maybe another nightlight to guide your walk to the bathroom would have been helpful too), this cottage was perfect. We were close to every rock hunting site my wife wanted and the loudest noise were the waves washing up on the shoreline. My wife already is talking about coming back.
Beautiful location, secluded but not isolated. The hosts have stocked the cabin has everything you need.
We enjoyed sightseeing but the views from the deck were my favorite part of our stay.
We enjoyed
The family enjoyed our stay on the shore of Lake Superior. The house is a mix of the original grand camp style cabin with a more modern addition. Kitchen was amply stocked with cookware, flatware, dishes etc. Drip coffee machine and bean grinder was a daily staple allowing for local roasted coffee beans to grind and brew. Beds were comfortable. One single toilet and shower required coordination between the family.
Brand new BBQ on the deck, fire pit were provided (not wood along road). The direct line of sight to nightly sunsets over the lake were alone worth staying here. Beautiful. Waking up and looking out of the second story master bedroom windows over the lake with the waves lapping the shore was delightful. A mix of an old grand family cabin/camp and a more modern WiFi/72â TV family room/bedrooms was a god fit for our family.
