Explore the scenic beauty of Campbellsville and Green River Lake, with hiking trails, parks, and historical sites. The KY BOURBON TRAIL and Mammoth Cave are a must see.

Welcome to "Just like Grandma’s House" and remember a simpler time. Come on in and let the stress fade away while curled up on the couch reading a good book or enjoying a cup of coffee.

This home was built in the 1950's and has a few quirks and qualities because of this. It has original hardwood floors in the main living room and bedrooms. The walls are kinda thin, so if you are a very light sleeper, there are earplugs in the big bathroom under the sink. The kitchen area was expanded to add a den, second bathroom, and laundry. Because of this, the second bathroom and the laundry room can be cold. Please leave those doors open in the winter when not in use, so the water won't freeze. The hot water is gas heated and becomes very hot. The pipes do make noise when the water runs. So don't be alarmed. (Old house quirks)

I want you to feel comfortable, so feel free to adjust the temperature. The thermostat is on the right as you start down the hallway. Use the arrows to adjust the temperature and then press hold to keep it there.
Throw blankets are scattered around the house. So curl up and enjoy a relaxing nap or read any of the books laying around.

All TV’s are 4kHD and have Roku. You are welcome to login to your own accounts and the TV will log you out automatically. Just enter your checkout date. You can then download free apps, login, and enjoy.

The internet network is KINETIC_672943 and the password is r8TReNeNVc . But it is perfectly acceptable to stay unplugged while at Grandma’s.

A Keurig with coffees, tea, and hot chocolate are provided. There is creamer and a selection of sweeteners in the drawer below the Keurig. The coffee cups are in the cabinet above, along with drink glasses. There are wine glasses and a few others in the cabinet to the right of the stove. In the cabinet you will also find mixing bowls, measuring cups and spoons.

If you are like me, I don't like to do dishes. So there are paper plates, plastic cups, and napkins. Along with sandwich bags, plastic wrap, and tin foil in the large cabinet to the left of the refrigerator. The trash bags are under the microwave.

If you enjoy cooking, I've tried to supply all the essentials. The kitchen has a gas stove. Be mindful of this and make sure it is turned off when not in use. The toaster is in the lower cabinet to the left of the sink, along with a hot water kettle, cutting board, and glass baking dishes. Above the stove you will find the blender and salt, pepper, and oil.

Plates and bowls are in the upper cabinet to the right of the sink.
Under the sink is the dish drainer and mat. There is also a bottle of Method All-purpose Cleaner.
Contents of drawers from left to right are 1. coffee supplies, 2. pot holders, 3. knives, tongs, scapers, misc., 4. silverware, can opener, corkscrew, 5. dish rags and towels, 6. screwdrivers, pliers, scissors, tape, misc.

There are smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Fire extinguishers are in the laundry room on the left shelf and the basement closet floor.

In the laundry room you have a large capacity washer and gas dryer. I have supplied detergent, fabric softener sheets, and spot remover. There is an iron and ironing board. There is a broom, dustpan, and mop in the garage if needed.

The basement is finished and has two reclining couches and a big screen TV. The couches are very comfortable. Perfect place for the kids.

There are games in the basement closet and a foosball table. Please treat them with care so you and others can enjoy them in the future. Let me know if any game is missing valuable pieces.

A queen size air mattress, sheets, blankets, and pillows are in the basement closet.

Each bedroom has soft pillows on the bed and firm pillows in the closet. There are extra sheets in each room also. Extra pillowcases are in the laundry room.

Each bathroom has a relaxing shower massage and soft, absorbent bath towels, washcloths, and hand towels. Many essentials are provided, including shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, and handsoap. If you forget something, look in the medicine cabinet or under the sink in the big bathroom for some extras.

The first aid kit is in the kitchen, lower cabinet to the right of the sink. I hope you don't need it. If there is anything missing or you use the last of something, please let me know and I will replace it ASAP.
