The Space:

Welcome to Hemlock, a cozy hillside retreat for two perched above the pond at Lux in the Gorge. With elevated water and wooded views, a private hot tub, and warm cabin-inspired interiors, Hemlock offers a peaceful place to slow down and reconnect while keeping you close to everything Red River Gorge has to offer.

This thoughtfully designed two-level tiny cabin makes the most of its hillside setting, with the bedroom tucked into the upper loft and the main living spaces below.

Sleeping:

Head upstairs to the cozy loft featuring a king bed, premium bedding, and peaceful hillside and pond views. It's a relaxing place to wake up surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Gorge.

Living Area:

The main level offers comfortable lounge seating, warm natural finishes, and plenty of natural light. A Google Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi make it easy to settle in for a relaxing evening after a day of exploring.

Kitchenette & Dining:

The well-equipped kitchenette includes a two-burner hotplate, microwave/air fryer/oven combination, refrigerator and freezer, Keurig Duo coffee setup, toaster, blender, cookware, utensils, baking essentials, and dining space for two.

Bathroom:

Hemlock features one full bathroom on the main level with a modern tile shower, fresh towels, and starter toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Outdoor Experience:

Step outside onto your private hillside deck and take in one of Hemlock's best features. The elevated view overlooking the pond and surrounding woods.

Start your morning with coffee outside, fire up the propane grill for dinner, or settle in beside the gas fire pit as the sun goes down. Your private 2-person hot tub is the perfect place to unwind after hiking or enjoy a quiet evening beneath the stars.

The Lux in the Gorge Experience:

Your stay at Hemlock also includes access to amenities shared exclusively by guests staying within the Lux in the Gorge community.

Head over to the private guest game room for pool, ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard, air hockey, arcade games, and more. Open daily from 6:00 AM to midnight, it's a great spot for a rainy afternoon, an evening in, or some friendly competition after exploring the Gorge.

Guests can also enjoy the community's private man-made pond and dock, with kayaks and a pedal boat available for getting out on the water.

Whether you're soaking in the hot tub overlooking the pond, enjoying a quiet evening by the fire, spending some time on the water, or heading out for another Red River Gorge adventure, Hemlock offers a peaceful hillside escape made for two.



Guest Access:

Guests will have private access to the entire Hemlock cabin and its outdoor spaces, including the private hillside deck, 2-person hot tub, gas fire pit, and propane grill.

As a guest of Hemlock, you’ll also have access to the shared amenities available exclusively to guests staying at Lux in the Gorge, including the private community game room, man-made pond and dock, kayaks, and pedal boat.

•The game room is open daily from 6:00 AM to midnight and features pool, ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard, air hockey, arcade games, and more.

•EV charging is also available within the Lux in the Gorge community for guest use.

•Parking is available at the property, and 4WD is not required for access.

•Please note: The game room, pond, dock, EV charger and watercraft are shared with other guests staying within the Lux in the Gorge community.



The Neighborhood:

Hemlock is located within Lux in the Gorge, a private cabin community surrounded by the wooded beauty of Red River Gorge. Its elevated hillside setting overlooks the community pond, offering a peaceful place to relax while still giving you convenient access to unique shared amenities, including the private pond, dock, watercraft, and Lux in the Gorge game room.

You’ll be approximately 20 minutes from the heart of Red River Gorge, with hiking, climbing, kayaking, Natural Bridge State Resort Park, local restaurants, and other popular area attractions within easy driving distance.

Spend your days exploring the Gorge, then return to Lux in the Gorge to soak in the hot tub, relax among the trees, or enjoy an evening in the game room.



Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is recommended for exploring the Red River Gorge area. Hemlock is approximately 20 minutes from the heart of the Gorge, with hiking trails, climbing areas, Natural Bridge State Resort Park, restaurants, and other popular attractions within driving distance.

Parking is available at the cabin, and 4WD is not required to access the property.

The Lux in the Gorge game room, private pond, dock, and other shared amenities are located within the community and are easily accessible during your stay.



Other Things to Note:

•Hemlock is a two-level tiny cabin with the king bedroom located in an upper loft. The staircase leading to the loft is steep and may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations. The full bathroom is located on the main level.

•The pond, dock, kayaks, pedal boat, and game room are shared exclusively with other guests staying within the Lux in the Gorge community.

•The game room is open daily from 6:00 AM to midnight. Please be respectful of other guests while enjoying all shared community spaces and amenities.

•Starter quantities of essential supplies and toiletries are provided to help you settle in. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase additional supplies.
