If you stand in the right locations, this property matches the posted photos. However, any slight deviation in viewing angle reveals a completely different property.
First impressions are important. When we pulled in the driveway we were greeted with an overgrown house. Tall weeds and grass were growing through the driveway. I can look past that until I saw a cat tower rotting by the garage accompanied by old sofa cushions, siding pieces, and a broken window. You then enter the house.
The flooring is bargain laminate that was poorly installed. The transition pieces, that were actually installed, were not installed correctly and broke free when a friend walked into the master bedroom. Luckily, she wasn’t hurt.
The cable modem, router, and wiring rest on the living room floor, so be careful.
Upon walking to the other two rooms by the full bath, you’re greeted with exposed piping running across the ceiling. That’s not what one expects when you stay at a VRBO.
The “luxury memory foam beds” are memory foam, but not luxurious. The shower is plumbed backwards, so hot is cold and vice versa. The light in the laundry room is a farm heat lamp clipped to the wire of the non-functional fluorescent light.
The kitchen has newer appliances. However, after catching a damp smell from the sink, we discovered mold/mildew underneath. This caused us to leave early due to allergies.
Sketchy wiring throughout the house has me wondering if anyone inspected the property.
False advertising!!
