« We really enjoyed our stay at Rushing Bear. The gated porch and side yard were perfect for our dog to be with us. The cabin is very clean and accommodating. The owner is very responsive to all communication. We were pleasantly surprised to find an actual bedroom upstairs since there isn't one pictured. « Beautiful, secluded and peaceful spot. The cabin was clean, super-cozy and furnished with everything we needed. When something beyond his control went wrong, the owner went out of his way to fix it for us. If we visit Asheville again, we will book this place. Loved it. »

« This place is at the top top of a mountain. Excellent place to see black bears and we did several times. House was clean and well appointed. You are surrounded by windows and nature. »

« My family had a great time here...me and my 7 year old played for hours in the creek on the rocks. There isn't much to do around town since there is still a lot of damage from Helene, we did go to Chimney Rock one day however it takes almost an hour because of detours. Also if your going to fish there isn't anywhere to fish again because of damage in surrounding areas. The host was very quick at responding and was accommodating, they allowed us to check in a little bit early so we could unload the motorcycles to ride.
