Très bel hôtel mais lors de notre séjour un Bris d'eau est arriver et nous avons séjourner à cet pendant quelques jours et on nous disait chaque jour que l'eau arriverais ..... Bref très mauvaise expérience car nous n'avons pas eu d'eau pendant notre séjour, et c'est très loin de tout alors l'emplacement best pas bon.

Second time he stayed here. Pool is just awesome. Got of the way from the hustle of busy streets but you do have to get transport to most places as a bit of a walk. Unless you take the beach. Then easy. Would come back again

lovely hotel, breakfast and service was terrible
room two bedroom was lovely, outside to our room pool area and furniture was run down, the combined pool and lounge / club area were lovely. service however was beyond slow with our order lost once. breakfast was terrible. Poor selection, poorly cooked. No milk on buffet and when requested not given fresh until numerous requests for same, no low fat option. couldn’t put food on the room and when we eventually did they forgot to give it to reception at checkout and we ended up having a guy in whatsapp me threaten me that he had my phone number and face on his phone and knew who i was even after I said I was paying via credit card on the same day as checkout and within minutes of him messaging me reminding me of invoice. Front desk service ordinary- check in slow and poor to assist with things like transport vehicles, ideas of what to do or see .

Det här var ett jättefint hotell på ett bra läge. Tyvärr har man inte hållit efter underhållet på ett bra sätt. Man ser rostangrepp på balkar och speglar. Inte så allvarligt men ändå onödigt. Ska man ha så många stjärnor som de uppger då måste man hålla efter det som slits.

Staff Great, Property run downed
The staff is excellent. The resort is run downed. Even the spa has calcium deposits on faucets, and cabinets are rotting. Pillows are musty smelling, electronic fixtures are loose or do not work, curtains are dirty. I am sure the pandemic has set keeping up back but it is not a 5 star resort which is what we expected. The staff's friendliness made up for many of the problems.

Very poor quality hotel. Tired, dirty, broken and 2 stars at best. Service ok and location good for surfing. But health hazard overall….we all got sick from the food and my son cut his foot in the pool. Not family friendly resort. Do not stay until they have refurbed and reviewed their hygiene

Loved staying at the lv8, the staff made it a great experience they’re all very friendly and helpful. I’d for sure stay here again. My room was really nice the bathroom was huge, bed was super cozy, and my pool in the room was cleaned a few times throughout my stay which was really nice. The resort is also amazing, great views and good food. I was really taken care of over here :) the staff is amazing.

I was extremely disappointed with our stay. Checked in on the 21st of Jan to room 308, after staying the night we discovered stains on lamps, curtains couch pillows and doors, water-damaged walls, the toilet not flushing, tv cables hanging out of the walls and tv's blurry to the point we could not watch them, shower heads unfinished and loose and a puddle of water next to the bath that we had not even touched yet. After expressing to the manager our experience and that we wanted a refund for our stay as it was not what was advertised whatsoever, we were moved to a new room while waiting to be processed for a refund. After spending the next day out of the hotel we were hopeful that our stay would get better, however, while getting ready to go to bed that night we then discovered blood stains on our pillows, what seemed to be food stains on our bedsheets, as well as lipstick stains on the glasses next to the basin which we had not used yet. We were not given a refund for our 10-night stay and the best they could do was provide us with Rp400,000 each day to spend at the hotel bar or restaurant. For the 10 nights we were there we did not once go into the pool after reading feedback about how unhygienic it was and then seeing for myself the film of algae on top of the pool. The gym was extremely worn out, every machine I used was broken or dodgy to use and the gym toilets were always clogged or leaking. Room amenities when booking stated there was a safe however none provided.

We had paid $2350 for 5 nights for this “5star” hotel and it was discussing. Our plunge pool was dirty and the walls mouldy and the room was very dated and below average. It was obviously closed for 2 years lover COVID and never Renovated. I would never go back

Bathroom was constantly broken. Repairs were done almost daily but didn't permanently fix the problem. The air conditioning was stuck on 25degrees and couldn't be set lower. Even after the technician came and fixed it, the problem remained. We literally got used to sweating in the room.

We booked LV8 for a family holiday over New Year, many months ago and were very worried prior to arriving, based on the recent poor reviews. Unfortunately, we found these recent poor reviews very accurate and LV8 did not live up to expectations. While we did not expect a brand new hotel, it should be 3 stars at best, not 5 stars as per Hotels.com site. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment, which was huge is size, but the room was smelly and mouldy. The maintenance person cleaned the air conditioning vents for us, but this made no difference to the smell. The curtains in both rooms had mould on them. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, however the service in the restaurant and poolside bar was very poor - even during relatively quiet times we were usually waiting about 20-30mins for a drink and sometimes over an 1 hr during other times. When comparing the restaurant’s prices & quality of food to other places nearby it also doesn’t stack up. To finish on a positive, the pool side cabanas and infinity pool was a great place to chill and relax.

Staff is nice, rooms are big, the pool area is nice. Food and drinks are expensive. The shower does need a good scrub in the corners. Sheets and towels new a clean. The pool water looked a bit dirty. The beach right in front of the hotel is dirty but the clubs right next to it keep it better so we used those instead.

Worth considering
Great location on the south end of Canggu. Awesome spacious rooms. Infinity pool overlooking the ocean.

Second time we have stayed here. And will be the last. The property has gone down hill at a rapid rate. No assistance with baggage on arrival. Broken showers and aircon. The pool area in our villa was dirty, no cushions in our Bali hut. The resort is hugely mis rated

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The condition of the hotel reflects the two year shut down. They are working hard to bring it back to the high standards that would be expected from a hotel of this cost. Be aware that traffic in Canguu is very very heavy all the time so you can’t just nip somewhere and walking on the roads around hotel isn’t advisable.

Nice hotel, could do with a little modernisation
Stayed 4 nights in a room with private pool. Overall a good stay, location was good and main pool was great. Could do with some repairs, air con unit was old and noisy, outside lighting around and in our private pool did not work and could use a general tidy up/paint job. But still overall a nice hotel.

Did not live up to expectations. The hotel is run down, food is overpriced and often cold. The pool was so absolutely disgusting, full of algae. We travelled as a group of 8 adults and 7 kids and required visits from the doctor from what we suspect to be the condition of the pool. We were refunded 3 nights of our 5 night stay. The pool was also closed after our group complained when checking out. The location is right on the beach but there’s not really anything else located close by. Better of staying actually in Canggu within close vicinity of Batu Bolong.
