We stayed at this lovely home for a week. The home was pretty, the beds comfortable, and everything was exactly like the photos.
PROS: Waking up and feedling turtles in the canal was so enjoyable. The lanai was perfect for getting a suntan, reading a book, and floating in the pool. PERFECT!! The house was large and well appointed. Very quiet area as well.
CONS: Having to provide your own laundry tabs and required to wash all but two towels each and the sheets slept on the night before leaving. Also, having to provide your own dish soap, dishwasher liquid, then required the night before to have all washed and put away, quite much to ask. Lastly, no hand soap in any bathroom, so you're required to purchase that, along with rolls of papertowels and toilet paper.
I can see not providing haircare products, but to ask a renter to provide everything after paying a heafty price per night is a turnoff. Sure, it was not a lot of money; however, to buy enough for a week, then not use it all...it's a waste and I hope it changes for the next renter. We have used many other VRBO rentals and this one is the only to require such a laundry list at checkout. Sadly, we spent the last few hours the night before doing everything! âčïž
We weren't advised that Cape Coral was still needing to be cleaned up and rebuilt due to the damage.
Again, the house is beautiful! I'm quite sure once the area returns to the what it was prior to Hurricane Ian many will want to come for a visit.
