San Diego Fun!

Very clean, well equipped home in a great neighborhood close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, etc. A fun surprise for our family was all of the games and puzzles and beach equipment provided for our enjoyment. We loved our 5-day vacation close to Legoland and to Sea World. We especially appreciated that the host was willing to meet us after we arrived from the airport and not make us wait until 4:00 check in. Stacy and Keith were very considerate and available to answer questions, etc.

Another Great Stay in Cardiff

This is our second time staying at one of Keith and Stacey's properties, our first time at this particular location. The home was gorgeous and well appointed. Location to the beach and Seaside Market (our favorite) could not be better. Our BIL + SIL flew in from the east coast to join us had similar comments. Communication with the hosts was excellent when a few minor things tripped us up but, all was handled well and satisfactorily. Can't wait to come back next summer!

Difficult neighbors, strange street.

A resident on the block yelled at our puppy from over the fence. This woman was scary. The dog became terrified and barked protectively. My family was playing charades on the top floor living room, did not hear right away, and reponded too late. It ruined our family celebration. Overall, I did not feel safe in this neighborhood. Some neighbors were strange and belligerent with odd flags flying in their yards. The house itself was beautiful, well-appointed, and perfect otherwise.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at the “Montgomery South” house! Stacey and Keith are some of the best hosts I’ve encountered! The house provided everything we needed for our family vacation. Very well thought out, nicely decorated and convenient to everything. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect Spring Break getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Montgomery South, and I cannot think of a better spot to spend a week escaping the cold and dreary days we left in Indiana, for Cardiff-by-the-sea! Stacey and Keith are expert hosts, who have not only equipped their amazing bungalow with everyhting you'll need in a super comfortable, clean and stylish place but also made themselves totally available in case we had questions or needs along the way. Parking in the garage was a huge plus factor. The town is adorable, and a quick walk down the hill puts you on the Coastline, where you can run or walk along the rail trail, as we did each day, or sit on the beach and watch surfers do their thing. The gourmet market nearby has amazing food options, and the house is walking distance to several great local restaurants. Cardiff is in a corner of Encinitas that is sandwiched by great beach towns both to the North and South, and is totally accessible to the freeway. It's a quick 25 min drive to the aiport and San Diego proper. It's literally the perfect location for visiting the area. Hiking, biking, paragliding, museums, shopping, great food, and views abound. We did it all inside of a week, and found the house a most relaxing spot to come back to each day and chill, curling up and watching movies. I loved the kitchen, and the arrangement of the rooms was perfect for our family - (one boy teenager and one tween girl shared the J&J bath) You cannot go wrong with this house, or with these hosts. :)

Amazing Christmas memories

We loved our stay here!! It felt like our home away from home and fit our whole family comfortably. The upstairs patio is the best place to watch every sunset and the kitchen is a dream! Everything is super organized and easy to find. The hosts were super responsive and came by the house when needed. We will for sure be back!

Great getaway

We really enjoyed the house in Cardiff. Recently updated, plenty of space to relax and super convenient location for hitting the beaches, restaurants, etc. Despite being in a busy area it was very quiet and relaxing. Well managed, Keith and Stacey were very communicative and went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. The small details go a long way. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic San Diego

Amazing trip to San Diego with the property our home away from home in Cardiff. Super clean, great location, great property owners, 1/2 mile to the 5. Beach an easy walk, great restaurants right in Cardiff and Encinitas a 5 min drive (or great walk). Only disappointment was i did not get a chance to use the surf boards that the house has. Would strongly reccomend the property for adults and families. Keith and Stacey were great hosts. We will return.

Wonderful Week in Cardiff-by-the-Sea

We could not ask for a better place to stay for our grandson's wedding week. While there were only 5 of us sleeping at the house, approximately 10 people were there for dinner every evening. The house was comfortable and very "family" friendly. Easy living!

Lovely Stay!

Keith was an excellent host and he communicated well. His home was beautiful and spacious. Everything was very clean and organized. Six adults stayed here very comfortably. The property is walking distance to the bike path which is along the beach and you are able to walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Encinitas. There are also shops and restaurants very close to the house in Cardiff. The house is also equipped with beach gear! Two foam surf boards, comfortable beach chairs, and a cooler were all an added bonus. We would love to stay at Keith's place again!

Walking Cardiff by the Sea

We spent a week here and loved every minute of it. The place was clean and quiet. Very well appointed. The bed was super comfortable. We like vacationing in Cardiff and really come for the Donuts at VG's. Can't get much closer than this. Thanks again for a great stay.

Incredible time

WOW do we love this house. This was our second year renting to get away from the cold Chicago winter and once again, we had an incredible time. The house is in an amazing location and walking distance to everything, it is completely updated with anything you need, Keith and Stacy (the property managers) are amazing and so responsive, reliable and have excellent recommendations. We loved having cocktails on the deck watching the sunset, what exquisite views! We felt right at home and truly did not want to leave. We can't wait to return.

A perfect spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The location couldn’t be better. We walked to restaurants (recommended by Keith and his family), the fabulous VG donut place, stores and the beach. We will be back.

Home away from home

This was by far the nicest place we have stayed. Very comfortable and welcoming, felt right at home. Close to great restaurants, coffee shop, Seaside Mkt. We’ll be back for sure.

Perfect House

This house and location are simply wonderful. House is clean and organized with a fresh feel. Superb decor and a home away from home feel. Very comfy and cozy, perfect in every way. I was so pleased with every detail the home offered. Keith and Stacey were available if needed and welcomed us with communication and presence. Thank you for making this a perfect experience, I only wished we had longer stay, next time I will be booking in advance to get the extra time! We will be back soon!

Turn Key Luxury & Walk to it All!

Beautiful Sweet Spot

Gorgeous accommodations. Super clean high-end everything. I havent stayed in a cleaner place .... including high end hotels. IPerfect area, close to local restaurants. You dont have to drive anywhere.. Great walking trails and the beach is, of course, beautiful. I will definitely go back. I loved my weekend there!

Went for a girls trip. Lots of great places to shop, eat, and drink, all within walking distance. We walked to the beach too. Beautiful home, nicely decorated! Can’t wait to come back!
