„This is a lovely cottage in a stunning location. The photos don't do full justice to how nice this place is. Small and still perrect for our little family. Very well equipped. Gorgeous gardens, bbq, outside seating is a plus. Lovrly nature right on your doorstep. Hosts were fab. Recommended!“

„The property is set in a stunning setting, opposite Blencathra, in a really quiet location. Unfortunately, however, the cottage has a rodent problem. Each morning we'd find mouse droppings underneath the fridge, on window ledges and by the sink. On leaving we also discovered mice had chewed through one of our bags.“

„After nearly two weeks in B&Bs it was really wonderful to stay in Garden Cottage for 6 days. It is a very well equipped house with all you need and more. The cottage has enough space to live in, a nice little private garden, a calm and beautiful surrounding. And...what is more important than all this, the owners Colin and Lesley are very nice and helpful people. We liked the little chats and friendly suggestions. „The MellFellView Cottage in Penruddock is a great place to stay for visiting the Northern Lake District, Ullswater is just a 20 min. drive with the car, we walked there around Glenridding and took the Steamer up to Howton. A wonderful voyage. Penrith is nice for a visit, too, some shopping in the little shops around the old town, nice cafes and charity shops. Don't miss the wonderful Hedgehog-bookshop! „This is a great apartment - it has a great location within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Keswick super handy access to Booths Supermarket and great views to the North looking at Skidaw and its approaches. Inside it is comfortable and has everything that you need for your stay - all kitchen and laundry is as expected and bed linen plus bath and hand towels were provided for each guest. Will absolutely stay again.“
