"Das mit Abstand schlechteste Frühstück während unserer 10-tägigen Schottlandreise. Ansonsten hat das Hotel eine sehr gute Lage zur Stadtmitte und eine gute Sicht auf Inverness Castle."

"Direkt am Bahnhof von Inverness und trotzdem mitten im Geschehen — ideal für eine Nacht auf dem Weg durch die Highlands. Parkplätze direkt am Hotel sind vorhanden, was in einer Stadtlage nicht selbstverständlich ist. Das Hotel hat echten schottischen Charakter mit seiner beeindruckenden viktorianischen Eingangshalle. Solide Basis für alles, was Inverness zu bieten hat."

"Let’s get the bad out of our chests: the checkin-in period and customer service of this property is terrible. We had to rush from Edinburgh up to the Highlands (3-hour drive) because check-in time was only between 17:00-19:00. We rushed to find the reception building, and arrived at 19:00 sharp only to find the key inside an envelope with my name and the cottage number on it plastered on the door. Reception had closed. They did send an email around 17:30 which I saw too late. So a phone call to your guest would’ve been in order? Once you settle down in your cabin, though, it’s a totally different experience. The cabin had a winter garden for a dining area, so it was such a delight to eat meals there with the ducks knocking on the glass. It’s a dream accommodation if you’re looking for a cabin-in-the-woods type. Tranquility is next level. It also features a well-equipped kitchen, hot water (toiletries would’ve been appreciated). I wish they would upgrade the bathrooms next. Highly recommended if you’re looking for being with nature more than 5-star amenities."

"Das Personal und Ambiente waren super. Das Hotel ist allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was man an den Zimmern deutlich merkt. Nichtsdestotrotz war unser Aufenthalt dort sehr schön und man konnte die Abende gut in der Lounge/Bar verbringen. Es gibt außerdem genügend Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel, sodass die Parkplatzsuche entfällt."

"Wir waren zu viert und das Zimmer war angemessen groß. Allerdings gibt es nicht wirklich einen Platz um den Koffer offen hinzustellen. Das Frühstück ist gut und bietet ausreichend Auswahl. "

"First of all, I have no problems with old buildings. It has really a certain charme. My problem is, if important things like the shower head in the bath are not adjustable in the high, because it was broken and a very cheap solution. Don't understand why its not possible to install better quality. It also was not clean, found hairs everywhere in the bath and I really not searched for it. All in all, I can't recommend it, because the price is too high for what you get. "
