« The room was very nicely presented, light and very cosy and warm. The staff were very helpful, kathy helped us out lots and assisted us with whatever we needed. Access to the pool and various spa activities was a good addition as well. Lovely place and well recommeded, will deffinetely stay again. »

« The George is a lovely, old-fashioned kind of hotel in a small village. Check in was a little confused as we missed the sign that said reception but once we found it, it was easy. The room was spacious with a king sized bed, kettle, desk and chair. I was extremely impressed with the breakfast. Tea, coffee, juice, cereal and toast then a cooked choice from the menu. Staff were super friendly and helpful. A lovely stay and we would definitely return. »

« Old coaching inn with busy bar. No elevator and rooms up long winding stairs and no staff to help carry bags so avoid if infirm or with loads of heavy bags. Breakfast superb and it’s very much in the center of town so great location. Service willing if a bit strained. »
