« Lovely cabin in the woods, came with all the little extras you often don't think to pack (e.g. towels, condiments, cleaning products, books, DVDs, toys, baby equipment etc). Can't help but relax here, especially on the veranda in the evening, which has a patio heater if needed. No wifi & 6km from town meant my kids aged 15, 13 & 4, took to exploring the woods, finding frogs, playing games, watching DVDs with family while 'home'. « The hosts are amazing!! The house was wonderful and the property was everything as described. Lovely time on the lake kayaking. We were very well taken care of and Nicola and David were the loveliest hosts we’ve ever had. Highly recommend renting this lovely home if you just want to relax and enjoy the Irish countryside. Nice hotel, not eco-responsible and bad sleep.
"Nice hotel. However, with a room temperature set at 26°C, one could say that eco-responsibility is nonexistent. I had to open the window. Not being entirely sure if the thermostat was working, I completely turned off the radiator. Despite this, the room remained at 23°C the second night, which is still too warm for a comfortable sleep."
