« This was an unexpected gem in the unlikeliest of places. I was on a solo trip to go hike at John Day Fossil Bed near the Painted Hills and wanted accommodations within 2 hours. Madras is a pretty little town and my stay at the Inn at Cross Keys Station was comfortable. The inn has a rustic feel and close to all necessary amenities— food, groceries and convenience store. The staff at the Inn is friendly, courteous and helpful. The weather was gorgeous. I was scheduled to spend 2 nights and ended...

« Pas de ménage ni de changement de serviettes durant 3nuits ! Nous avons attendu la 2e nuit avant d’inavoué draps taie d’oreiller pour le cavale lit alors que nous avions réservé dès le départ pour un adulte deux enfants. Au petit dej, arrivés à 10h05, la seule fois où on a pu s’y rendre, tout était rangé !!! Pas sympa du tout … Le pking 10$ est aussi trop cher quand on reste plusieurs nuits comme nous … La chambre était très bien mais cela ne vallait pas le prix. »

We love this hotel for so many reasons but mainly it is quiet...it is clean..it has friendly staff and you can walk down the hill and all the shops and restaurants are right there. Also a bike path if you wish to go walking or running. I love this property!! »
