« this place is amazing for the northern woods. first of all whoever built, it did an amazing job true craftsmanship, not a detail overlooked. has everything you’re looking for and more on a quiet, nice piece of land with access to the expressway.I would recommend this to anyone traveling in that area….. »

« This was a really fun, historic location. Communication with the host was excellent. I accidentally locked myself out of the house and they came to our rescue immediately. I also need to mention the number of towels! Haha We have traveled extensively and have never had so many towels avaliable. Sounds like a small thing, but it was really nice to have so many. The nearby water was beautiful and the neighborhood is very friendly. »

« This was a very nice place to stay. Easy on and off the trail. Lots of places to go for dinner. Plenty of room in the kitchen, along with the right equipment, to make meals. The beds were comfortable. When I reached out to Heather, she answered right away »

« Two couples looking for something different from the norm while in the area for a family wedding weekend trip. Can't say enough about how cool this place is. Kyle Ripley and his lovely family have created a unique, rural farm homestead. Besides the wonderful rental home you get a chance to tour the property and learn directly from the owner how it was created to be totally sustainable and "off the grid" while providing all the creature comforts you could want. « Very efficient, clean little cabin on the lake. beds were very nice and sheets/pillows felt brand new. Comfy couch and easy chair. Basic kitchen needs (cups, plates, bowls, pots, pans, silverware, flipper, etc.). Nice coffee maker and toaster (all clean). No frills.
