« This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here! « I am 6’4”. I used to travel 120 nights a year all over. This was the smallest room(including cruise cabins) I have ever been in. I would have complained but I was in one and of my favorite towns and just went with it. The tv was on the left wall to a forward facing bed and it was so uncomfortable trying to watch I turned it off and played on my phone. I checked and my bathroom and wife’s closet are bigger than the room. Buyer beware and all but that room was ridiculous and uncomfortable. And...

« This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside...

« Beautiful property, great outdoor seating, very close to main st. Updated but small room, super comfy king bed, big step up to shower/tub. Air conditioner blows on bed all the time as there is no on/off cycling. Bathroom clean & has good counter space. Staff super helpful. »

« The hotel is modern and very clean. Within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and the amenities were good. There was a small but nice balcony to sit on in the evening. The only negative was the clicking and banging and humming coming from the small refrigerator by the bed. It was not constant but did wake us up in the night. I would stay here again. »
