Abgeschieden Waterfront Cottage auf 200 Hektar großen Bauernhof in der Nähe von Queenstown

4bedroom, 2 Badezimmer, Klimaanlage Haus auf 200 Hektar großen Farm mit einer Meile von Wasser auf Maryland Eastern Shore. Im Umkreis von 100 Metern um das Deck gibt es ein Dock perfekt zum Betrachten von Sonnenaufgänge und Sonnenuntergänge. Kajaks und Kanus stehen zur Verfügung. Das Haus liegt in einem Waldgebiet am Wasser voll von Puten, Eulen und Hirsche entfernt. Längere Aufenthalte an alternative bauernhof, falls gewünscht. Striped Bass Fishing im späten September und Oktober.

Nice summer stay

Nice secluded location with private dock and beach that the kids loved. Only saw one jellyfish during our stay for the first week of July. Owner was very nice and responsive. Plenty of restaurants within driving distance.

Perfect family weekend at Spring Cove Farm!

My wife and I, and our daughter's family (including our grandkids (ages 5 and 8) spent an amazing long weekend at Spring Cove Farm. We all loved our stay so much. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and the pier/water was gorgeous with ample kayaks and paddle boards. The kids fished from the pier for hours upon hours each day, and were thrilled at the selection of toys. Our daughter and son-in-law were working remotely and the Wi-Fi and Internet worked perfectlu. Dr. Dobbins was beyond accommodating. He brought a llama to the house one morning for the kids to pet and allowed us to roam around his beautiful, secluded property. We made fires in the fire pit at night and enjoyed the sounds of nature. We all enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return next year.

Quiet Eastern Shore MD

Very quiet and peaceful location but still near great places to see and eat at. Reed Creek has almost no traffic and very pretty to explore on the kayaks, canoes and paddle boards that you can borrow at the cabin. Creek is fun to swim in. Lots of farm stands around and cabin has everything you need to cook. My daughter loved walking the Lama's and there are great roads to bike on in the whole area.

Wonderful retreat

Our family had such a lovely stay at the river house/farm. The house itself is very comfortable and graciously supplied and managed - it's got everything you need, unlike many corporate rentals. The river is very quiet with very few houses nearby, a dock for swimming and kayaks for play. The surrounding towns are very charming as are the hosts and the farm. Highly recommend.

Pleasant home by river, with visiting llama

We were 5 adults whose needs fit well with this property. One guy went fishing while 3 others went kayaking. A couple of us went biking. All of us enjoyed swimming, especially with a little beach a short walk from the house. A unique feature was a visit by a llama, brought to the house by our host. There was plenty to keep us occupied for 4 days. We definitely want to go back.

We enjoyed meeting the hosts and their llamas and emus. The home had everything we needed for our stay, and the view of the water from the house could not be better. Lovely visit. I have a 1 and 3 year old. They loved the water and meeting the llama. The room set up is confusing in the listing. Its 3 bedrooms with 2person beds and a forth bedroom w a 1person bed.

Unfortunately, due to health and personal reasons, I had to cancel my stay at the last minute. Unfortunately it was well past the refund date, but that was not the owners fault. That said, were I to be in the area again, I would definitely consider staying here.

Relaxing Waterfront Getaway

Lovely getaway

Cute cottage tucked back behind the llamas and emus at the main farm. More than enough space for 5 of us. Plenty of kayaks, SUPs, canoes with an easy launch area next to the dock. Just watch for the amazing huge orb weaver spiders in the evening on the dock and path down to it!

Peaceful and Comfortable

We loved our stay. Mornings on the deck sipping coffee and listening to a symphony of birds in the trees while looking out over the river were lovely. We spent a whole day enjoying the water and appreciated the life vests, sun umbrella to cover the dock benches, and variety of kayaks and canoes to use. Our six year old loved swimming in the shallow water around the dock.

This place is AMAZING

Absolutely peaceful and beautiful. Feels like a mountain setting on a Chesapeake Creek. Everything about it was great. Stores, shopping and restaurants are fairly close by. Doug was a great host. He let us borrow a fishing rod to fish off the dock. We will definitely be back in the near and far future. To understand how wonderful it is, you have to experience it yourself. You will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to return.
