We have visited this cottage many times, it is always clean, comfortable, well stocked, and what a view! We brought our kids and grandkids this time and everyone had a great time:) D & D are the most accommodating hosts and nicest people, they have thought of everything! Thank you for sharing all the great amenities from Island Trail- I think we used them all- dock, boat ramp, pool, hot tub, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, water trampoline and the pontoon trip! Thanks for everything D & D...till next time!

Chapin Getaway

The property is beautiful. And the hostess's are lovely with their southern charm! Would highly recommend staying at their accommodation, whether it’s in one of their 3 guest rooms (all facing the lake) or in the cottage, which is a 2 bedroom, living room, with a kitchen, private patio facing the lake, along with a boat deck. Phenomenal view of Lake Murray!

Family Celebration

My family stayed at the cottage for a long weekend celebrating a college graduation. Parents, grandparent and friends relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful scenery, while the kids had a blast with all of the water amenities, even in the rain! The cottage had everything we needed, and Debra and Jeff could not have been more pleasant or accommodating!

Debra and Dennis were the most welcoming hosts. They have a beautiful property on Lake Murray with the several VRBO options. We stayed in their 2 bedroom cottage. We loved that it was right on lake Murray with a trampoline in the lake, and many different boat options. They also make their pool available to their VRBO guests. We had privacy to explore, yet they made themselves available when needed. Debra and Dennis have thought of everything a guest could need. I highly recommend this lake front property. Our family with a 2 year old and 12 year old enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you Debra and Dennis. You made our first VRBO stay very memorable and one we look forward to repeating. A 5 star stay!!

Weekend on the lake

The Island Trails Cottage is super comfortable with so many "above and beyond" comforts of home added for guests both inside and outside. Literally, just bring your clothes. Hosts, Debra and Dennis could not be any nicer nor more accommodating. The property is immaculate and location perfect for our need of reconnecting with friends in the area. We were very appreciative of a private launch ramp, a safe place to dock our boat overnight and ideal spot for the trailer. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Amazing long weekend stay

My family of 4 adults stayed in the Sunset Cottage and it was beyond our expectations. Our space was cozy, complete with a comfortable covered porch overlooking the lake. This part of the lake is especially quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed and then some. Our stay included access to the inground pool and hot tub, in addition to lake access with kayaks and paddle boards. We arranged for a pontoon boat ride our last evening there. The sunset cruise was a perfect ending to a great long weekend. Highly recommend!

Absolute Perfection

We love Lake Murray and have been there several times. While we always have a great trip, this Sunset Cottage was the best! The pictures do not do it justice, it had everything we were looking for and more. It was extremely clean, comfortable and offered so many unexpected extras, it was the perfect week away. Thank you so much Debra and Dennis for sharing your beautiful property and for being you- your genuine thoughtfulness really made our trip the best yet:) We will be back, after this visit I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Incredible paradise vacation on Lake Murray

Wow! My husband, myself, and our two young children just spent a week here and our entire vacation exceeded our expectations! This place is absolutely amazing with so many things to do for us and the kids. Each day was filled with swimming in the pool and lake, kayaking, paddle boarding, and relaxing while having such a tranquil view of the lake. The cottage is adorable with plenty of space and even had activities for the kids too! Debra and Dennis are beyond the most amazing hosts you will find. They are incredibly sweet and accommodating. You can easily see the pride they have in making their home an oasis that others can share. Anything we needed, they were happy to help and always checked on us to make sure we were happy. My family has definitely found our yearly vacation spot in South Carolina. You won’t be disappointed, I promise!!

FANTASTIC GEM!!!

Thank you so much, Debra & Dennis, for the fantastic three days! Clean, WELL-STOCKED COTTAGE, lakefront to a well-stocked lake, POOL, pickleball, ping-pong, basketball, campsite, paddle kayaks, everything imaginable, and then some. My grandsons,17 & 22 yrs old, had such a great time! They far preferred this over going to the beach, and I never thought I'd hear that!! LIFETIME MEMORIES are right in their own backyards. Better than advertised

This cottage is ideal for a couple with small children. The hosts are gracious and go out of their way to please. The view of the lake from the cottage is worth the rent but the cottage itself is immaculate and full of pricey furnishings and upgrades. I have never stayed at a rental where the landlords had more regard for their guests. A solid 10 out of 10 rating.
