« Very nice pub in a picturesque village. Great walking and a fabulous craft barn with an excellent restaurant and cafe just over the road. The pub is large with parking. It is very nicely presented throughout. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was tiny, but very clean, comfortable and everything worked well including the shower. « Cara was very organized and phoned in advance to check the number of beds to be made up for our stay and also sent some details of local pubs and restaurants nearby, so we could arrange an evening meal. The room was much bigger than expected, with a very comfortable king size bed, and a sofa-bed in the room for additional guests. The kitchenette had a small fridge with juice, water and fresh milk, and a choice of cereal was provided. There was tea and coffee as well as a kettle and toaster....

« Wanted some cheap basic accommodation for 2 nights. Found it eventually after driving through the narrow lanes some of which weren't signposted very well but adds to the fun!. Very neat and cosey and the bed was particularly comfortable. Nicely laid out with some nice touches.
