« This home is an excellent property for a family or group. It's obvious that the property is well maintained and cared for by its owners. In fact, there were thoughtful touches throughout this charming house--including a nice bottle of wine! The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with convenient dry goods. This house would be a really nice place to stay with children. Overall, the attentive owner and his excellent properties made for a wonderful weekend for my son's wedding. »

« Not modernized, but somewhat expected.Place was clean and lake view was a little restricted but still captivating.Bathrooms for each bedroom was the main reason for our renting of this home.Location was within walking distance for restaurants, shopping, etc.Hosts we’re responsive, 2 of the 11 bathrooms were short hand towels and wash clothes and that was resolved the following day.Lighting for the bathroom mirrors needs improvement.Apple blossom bathroom tub needs work, tub unstable when...

« We found the home to be in perfect order and very charming. It was a little disappointing to learn how far away and difficult it was to get to the water. The andvertises a closer to water location. The other comment I have sent along to the owner is the fire alarm and carbon monoxide alarms went off in the middle of the evening disturbing our sleep for no apparent reasons. »

« If you need a good night's sleep away from the expensive lodging in Petoskey, this is a great choice. Really nice setting. It is mainly just a comfy bedroom, but the view on a nice deck for morning coffee is superb, and a nearby snack & coffee shack just steps from the door makes for some nice hanging out time. We stayed one night on our way up north to a weekend music festival, and we stopped again on our way home to take a one-hour kayak trip across the street, a livery owned by the VRBO...
