Our key didn’t work when we arrived, we then get into the room and we didn’t have any bath towels. We stayed two nights, the next day our key didn’t work again, very frustrating to keep going to the front desk! Front desk staff was rude, housekeeping staff very friendly. The second day the breakfast lady called in sick so there was no coffee available in the hotel. No one knew how to make it but the lady at the front desk and apparently she was too busy to make coffee.

The rooms on the second floor were all non smoking but every night of my 4 day stay I would smell someone smoking. I could smell it all along the entire hallway and even in my room. When I complained to the front desk, tha associate seemed to not be concerned. Every day I would leave the room in the morning and when returning in the evening my key card would not work, I would have to go back to get my key card updated so the I could enter the room. Again the front desk associate seemed unfazed but the fact that this happened every day. Overall not a good stay. If is this a representation of a Quality Inn will never stay in one again.

Seemed like a new owner or management was at this facility. Growing pains. The first room provided to me was already occupied so I was issued a second one with an attempt of an apology. The second room was clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable and pillows of many. Keep the hotel at its present state and get to know your booking/checkin programming and you will be successful. Staff was silent and weird. Breakfast terrible. They had waffle iron out and on but no Dough for the 3 mornings we were there. No eggs, just some slime sausage patties that they heated up in the microwave together with muffin and gravy. When we needed coffee refilled it took them 15-20 minutes to refill it?! First room we got smelled like smoke so we got it changed and the other room smelled better. Lots of weirdos staying there. I guess truckers from the road. Many smelled like alcohol and we saw them walk with open containers around the property.

The check in clerk was horrible. His version of customer service was he will check you in as he feels like it and when he feels like it. He did not like being bothered. He was very condescending that I would even ask him a question. The room was okay until you went into the bathroom. The ceiling leaked above the shower. The paint was bubbling in multiple locations. The cleaning crew left long black hair in multiple locations. You are better off sleeping in your car and brushing your teeth at a gas station.

There was a lot of noise and kids running around. Filed noise complaint and issue was not resolved. Supposed to be a non smoking building and it smelled like cigarettes. Was told I needed cash for a deposit which was not stated anywhere. Charged my card and it has not been refunded yet.

Staff was great. Place is really rough, although it is inexpensive.. Almost all the outlets were burnt out and all the light bulbs. It was not a quiet place, but the staff was nice and they did their best despite the place being in very rough shape. They definitely need to do maintenance on the rooms. Towel racks, hair dryer, walls, curtain rods etc etc broken all broken burnt out outlets and only one working light bulb in the whole room. Place needs some serious TLC

Good Stay
I reserved this place through a discount site and wasn't disappointed. It was north of Charlotte so I didn't have much of a rush hour to contend with. The WiFi and cable were good and the bed was comfortable. The room had an iron and board and coffee. Good stay.

Constant noise from traffic on I77 all night. Over the course of the week, my room key needed to be reissued multiple times a day every day. Breakfast was practically non-existent. Green bananas when available. Practically no bagels or bread. Broken towel bars. I found out that they only clean the room every day if you request it. They claim company policy changed to that during the pandemic and is still in effect. Tv had a remote that did not work even with new batteries. Poor water pressure in sink and even worse in shower. There are no smoke detectors. This place should have its name changed to Lack of Quality Inn. Never stay here!!! There is only 1 way to improve this motel. Bulldoze it to the ground.

Not the cleanest.
The tile ledge under the bathroom mirror had a large cigarette ash chunk on it. First I thought it was a bug. I removed it with a Kleenex then wiped the ledge with a wet wipe and it was very dirty. Yuck. The beds were noisy, lumpy, and uncomfortable. Staff was very nice.

Property was NOT close to clean. Entire facility and room had very bad odor! Hotel room lamps had chewed gum all around. My hotel room door would not lock properly easy to be pushed in. The room key will also deactivate forcing us to return to the main desk for deactivation. Very inconvenient!!!! The hotel did not have clean towels for an entire day to provide guests due to staff not being available to do laundry… unacceptable. This hotel receives 1 star only for being pet friendly and available for a last minute stay. I should’ve checked out the very next day not stay 3 days. I will NEVER return to this property.

Very pretty and inviting upon pulling up. Smells and looks clean, ground kept nicely. Looks like there is a lot of shopping and dining nearby. I'll explore more during the daylight hours.

This is the rudest, most disrespectful place to stay on LKN What a horrible breakfast, no maids speak English, staff uneducated and rude. 40 year old decor.. water marks on ceilings,huge dogs allowed, Marijuana smell 24/7!! Thin cold windows!! Bad bad bad owners should be held accountable!! Their still resprenting Choice hotels, correct?? Well they shouldn't be!!

Upon entering the room that was assigned, we noticed that it had not been cleaned. That however was corrected by James, who when contacted not only gave us a different room but personally came to the room with us to make sure that the room was OK. The entire time we were there, James gave service and hospitality above and beyond the call. He is a keeper for the chain.

You get what you pay for
The hotel staff was very nice, everything worked in the room, the bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. The AC/heater did not work very well. It was either very hot or super cold! It was hard to stay comfortable all night. We kept the do not disturb sign on our door for the first three days. On the last day we were leaving for the day and we were hoping the room would be cleaned, so we took the do not disturb sign down. we left at 8 am and came back around 2 pm and our room was not touched. The hotel was very cheap so, you get what you pay for! I would rate this stay a 2.5/5

We couldn’t slept well because the a/c unit wasn’t working properly. I settled it on 70 degrees and it felt like 80’s too hot. You should fix the unit.
