« The room was excellent. Our only minor inconvenience was that the room was quite warm. The provided fan was helpful but a little ac would have been a wonderful addition. Great parking and easy to get to. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if the opportunity presents itself. »

« Fantastic place! We really enjoyed our short stay! So well outfitted you will want for nothing. This location on a map looks like it is out of the way but we found out surprisingly that it is close to all highways in minutes. Very close to shopping. The neighborhood is very quiet and easy to negotiate. Highly recommend and the host is wonderful!! »

Communication with the host and his co host was prompt and very useful.The location was very good for us …a 15 minute drive at most for many of the activities we undertook. Noise from people renting the upper unit was minimal. Overall an excellent rental compared to others that we have stayed at on Vancouver Island. »

« Stayed there in August 2026. Two adults, one kid. Property was clean and comfortable. Beautiful area on a hill. We did not have enough bedding and towels but host provided them immediately after request. Host was very friendly and responsive. Experience was positive overall. « I rarely leave negative reviews, but this property was a huge disappointment, especially for the price we paid. The unit is extremely dated and in desperate need of renovation. The most concerning issue was the peeling paint in the bathroom, which appears to be old and could potentially be lead-based. If that’s the case, it’s a serious safety concern that should be addressed immediately. The beds were some of the most uncomfortable we’ve slept on—very stiff with flat pillows—and there weren’t...
