Slide into the private hot tub under the string lights while the fire pit crackles below and the kids race up to the arcade loft. This wooded cabin in Cherry Log is technically a 2-bedroom + loft, and it sleeps 8 with room to spread out: wraparound decks, a gas fireplace for cool nights, and downtown Blue Ridge about 20 minutes away. Tomorrow: a trail hike, a waterfall, or a slow porch coffee. Tonight the only plan is s'mores. The hardest part is leaving.

OUTDOOR LIVING

The wraparound deck is the social hub. The private hot tub (up to 7 people) anchors the upper deck with Bluetooth speakers, rocking chairs and lounge seating, and string lights that switch on at dusk. The lower deck has cornhole and Pop-a-Shot basketball. Follow the lit path down to the fire pit: Adirondack chairs and bench seating for eight under the trees. A propane grill and an outdoor dining table round it out for meals under the trees.

MAIN FLOOR

Vaulted ceilings open up the living room, where a remote-control gas fireplace, leather couch and Roku TV set up movie night, with a bar ledge for extra seats. The full kitchen has an electric range, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, crock pot, blender and a coffee maker that brews K-cups or grounds. A round table seats the group for cards after dinner. Central heat and A/C keep every season comfortable.

THE LOFT

Climb the stairs and the loft is its own world, the game room kids sprint to first. Claim the foosball table, then take turns on Golden Tee and the Pac-Man cabinet under the lit "Classic Arcade" sign. A second king bed sits under a ceiling fan, the futon folds out into a queen for overflow, and a Roku TV handles late shows. A dedicated workspace with a real desk and chair keeps remote work on track. The loft's full bath has a shower plus a washer/dryer.

LOCATION & WHAT'S NEARBY

A secluded cabin feel in the Cherry Log woods, yet centrally located near Blue Ridge, Ellijay and McCaysville, never more than about 25 minutes from something to do.

BLUE RIDGE (9.7 miles, ~20 min): downtown shops, art galleries, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, Mercier Orchards, the Expedition Bigfoot Museum, and Lake Blue Ridge for swimming and kayaking (~26 min).

ELLIJAY (14 miles, ~24 min): B.J. Reece Orchards, downtown dining and shopping.

McCAYSVILLE (12.2 miles, ~22 min): on the GA/TN border, with Riverwalk shops, local restaurants and live music at Tooey's.

WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR

FAMILIES: Family-friendly from top to bottom. The loft game room gives kids their own space while parents unwind on the deck, with board games, children's dinnerware and fire pit s'mores.

FRIEND GROUPS: A true group getaway for 4 to 8. Hot tub, arcade, cornhole and Pop-a-Shot keep the energy going, and Blue Ridge restaurants and wineries are 20 minutes out.

GIRLS' TRIP: Wine tasting or shopping by day, hot tub under the string lights by night, and a towel basket with makeup washcloths so the good towels stay clean.

COUPLES: Two main-floor bedrooms plus the loft give up to three couples their own space.

REMOTE WORKERS: Wi-Fi and the loft desk mean real work gets done before the fire is lit.

DOG OWNERS: Pet-friendly for up to 2 well-behaved dogs (details below).



GUEST ACCESS

The entire cabin is yours: all interior spaces, both decks, the fire pit area and the backyard. Self check-in with a smart lock means no key handoff; your door code arrives through the app before arrival. The only off-limits area is a locked crawl space door on the lower deck (owner maintenance only). We're not on-site, but we typically reply within an hour by app or phone. Cell coverage is limited, so use the Wi-Fi for texts and calls and save directions before heading out.



PARKING

Free parking on the property with room for multiple vehicles: no permits, no street parking. The drive in includes some unpaved mountain road, typical for North Georgia; two-wheel drive handles it fine in most weather. Motion-sensing lights and an exterior security camera cover the parking entrance. Expect stairs up to the cabin and between floors.



COMMUNICATION:

We believe in giving our guests complete privacy to enjoy their mountain retreat. We will not be present during your stay, but we are always available and happy to assist with any questions or needs via the messaging app or by phone. Check-in is seamless with a smart lock, so you can arrive and unwind at your own pace.

HOUSE RULES

• Check-in after 4:00 PM; check-out by 10:00 AM. Early Check-in/Late Check-out may be available on case-by-case basis and subject to additional charges

• Maximum 8 guests; must be 21 or older to book

• Dogs only: max 2, up to 50 lbs each, $75 per pet; the yard has no fence

• Quiet hours 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM; no parties or events

• No smoking or vaping indoors or on the decks



BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: A signed rental agreement and a $300 security deposit hold are required to finalize your booking. An automated message with a link to complete these will be sent after you reserve. Directions and door codes will not be issued until both items are received. The Security Deposit is released shortly after departure once the cleaning staff has verified that there is no damage or extra cleaning required.



STARTER SUPPLIES: We provide an initial starter supply of toiletries, paper towels, trash bags, and laundry pods. For longer stays, you may need to purchase additional supplies from nearby stores.



MOUNTAIN LIVING: This is a true cabin-in-the-woods experience. You may encounter wildlife like bears and bugs; please keep car doors locked and do not leave food outside. The metal roof can also be noisy during heavy rains and when acorns and small branches drop from the trees.



POWER AND WIFI: In the event of bad weather, power outages can occur, which would affect Wi-Fi. Emergency flashlights are provided for your convenience. We will attempt to provide updates on power restoration as much as possible; however, we can only provide what local power companies are sharing.



FIREWOOD: We do our best to keep firewood stocked for the fire pit, but a supply is not guaranteed. We recommend bringing your own fire-starting materials. Firewood is available for purchase at local stores.



CANCELLATION POLICY: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days before the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days before the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days before the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation for 48 hours after booking if arrival is at least 6 days away at the time of booking.
