Cabanes à Cherryfield

« Amazing cabin! Seems brand new—everything is modern, new and works perfectly! The bed and couch are comfortable, the eating area is generous, the kitchen is equipped with everything. The porch overlooks the nearby woods and the walking trail leads to Hadley Point beach, great for sunsets. Just 5 minutes from Acadia and 10-15 minutes from the Bar Harbor village. Cool ice cream concession and fire pit on the property! Host was very responsive, but we needed nothing. »

I expected rustic cabin but I didn’t see that it did not have electrics or running water. I didn’t expect big gaps in the wall boards that allowed you to look through the walls of the cabin. Which might not have been so bad had there not been swarms of mosquitos that attacked while we were looking the place over. It...

« We spent 3 days there, we had such a wonderful experience! We even cancelled some of our planned activities in the region to stay at the cabin and enjoy the beach, the lake and the equipment. Kids as well as adults loved it! »
