Overall my 3 night stay was fantastic. Room was very clean and modern. Restaurant had great selection of food choices. Hotel facilities were great. Staff were very kind and helpful. Hotel was close to main attractions (Cheshire Zoo and Cheshire Oaks)

Staff were amazing, upon arrival we received a friendly welcome and a free cookie! There was a wedding reception down the hall but you would never have known once in the room itself. Only grumble was paying for a superior room and having an adjoining room next door where we could hear everything including their alarm going off at 6am. Grounds are beautiful, lovely building. Only stopped off for one night and we ate in town so can't comment on the rest of the facilities

We stayed two nights and used the spa facilities on the saturday all was excellent, nice and clean, my only criticism was the breakfast was cold on both days, especially the eggs. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay

Everything about our holiday was great. Kie on reception was amazing!! Spar was great. The one thing that was not good was, we were 3 minutes late in checking out at 12noon, and the cleaner kept banging on the door for us to leave, then when i said please give us 5 minutes she spoke in a different language at me in a not so nice way, i found it rude. Bad customer care!!! Trying to let it not reflect on all the other great experiences there.

Belated Christmas present
We come here each January as I pay for the overnight stay as my friend's Christmas present. We ate in the restaurant after a long day shopping and as we had vouchers for free starters and drinks, the final bill was a pleasant surprise! Breakfast was served until 10 am the next day but when we arrived at 9.30, much of the hot food was sadly shrivelled (bacon) or solidified (eggs). Fortunately, I very much concentrate on the fruit, cereals and yoghurts. Overall, another lovely treat for my friend and we would certainly look to stay here next year.

Hello, sorry to complain as we did love our stay. We booked a room and stayed on Saturday 27th of January. We booked into the spa for 6pm-8pm which we paid £40 for the both of us. The spa was amazing however the hydro pool was freezing! So much so we were out within 30 minutes. We got changed and I spoke to the lady at the desk to inform her. She said it should be at the right temperature which it can’t of been. I then said if it’s possible to be able to let us go in tomorrow instead when it hopefully is warmer as we had paid £40 for basically 30 minutes! She said she would let us know. We never heard anything. Didn’t want to ask in the morning as I feel like we should have been spoken to personally.

Booked a relativeyl expensive option to provide pool for my family to find that this isn't useable unless you book the additional spa package or we could pay £20 per person extra! Pull out sofa bed had dust clouds rising from it everytime my children moved in their bed. May as well stopped at the travellodge down the road.

I feel the reception service could have been better. On arrival I went to the reception desk that had a member of staff on I stood there but was not acknowledged the staff member was looking at the screen in front of her with paper in her hand after a while she said you need to check in over there and point to the other reception desk. I didn’t say anything but went over to the other one we were checked in however the receptionist started a conversation with a male colleague which continued throughout our check in. Not very professional in my eyes

Great stay for a break!
Great stay! Room was good, staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I was gutted about was that there was dirty dishes and empty glasses with an empty bottle of wine sitting outside our door when we first arrived from the previous occupants.

On checking in staff not helpful and quite abrupt. I understand we were early for checking in but the staff could have been more welcoming and not continuously saying room not ready until 3 pm we understand that but there are ways of addressing their guests. I am sorry to say that the staff at double tree Hilton at Bath and Dunblane would put Chester to shame .

Extremely poor service, continuous noise coming from the air con vent in the room and the front desk did nothing about it and did not offer me an alternative room. Instead we had to sleep with the noise all night. I would highly avoid this hotel, purely down to staff
