Hôtel très bien situé. Chambre spacieuse avec vue sur la ville. équipement un peu minimaliste (pas de chaussons, produits beauté limités). Lobby froid et peu cosy. Pas de canapés pour s'installer. Lobby un peu hall de gare. L'hôtel mériterait de développer une déco plus chaleureuse et moins fonctionnelle façon hôtel à séminaire. Petit déjeuner très cher en terme de rapport qualité prix

The staff is excellent. Very helpful and courteous, took care of what few issues we had. The room service is a little expensive, $8 delivery fee. Limited coffee supplies in the room. Little wear&ear on the blinds. Otherwise everything was very nice.

My first night was terrible. I brought my family to the city to have a fun and safe time. The overnight staff were very rude and not friendly. They made my small children and I feel very uncomfortable. I spoke with the daytime supervisor and she assured me that would not happen again, but that was not the customer service I expected to receive at any point of our stay.

The location is great for visiting Downtown Chicago. It's right next to Tribune building, across from Wrigley building. Safe to walk around during the day. Car pickup and drop off is a bit challenging. Property is newly renovated, feels clean and modern in the historical building setting. We'll stay again if doing diner / theater stay-cation in Downtown.

We love staying here every time we are in Chicago and don’t plan to stay anywhere else! The staff are very friendly and kind. Rooms are extremely quiet and clean. Will the doorman/concierge always greeted us with a smile and was very kind in helping us find our way easily …best location too on mag mile !

Old charms for the decor, specifically the pool, which is so beautiful! But the room is small, no table and chairs. When I run water to shower, the water turns orange. I guess the water pipes probably need to be replaced. But overall experience is good. It is clean. Refrigerator filled with good stuff in the room.

We have stayed at many hotels in and around the Chicago area and this is one of our favorites now. We were in town for a mini family getaway and wanted a hotel that was on Michigan avenue that was close to everything. This hotel fit the bill and did not disappoint. Check in time was at 3:00 but we arrived at around 9:00 am and they had a room ready for us. We checked in super early and we were able to start our vacation. EVERYONE in the hotel was exceptionally nice and always said hello or was willing to chat for a few mins. The best part, however, may have been the indoor pool on the 14th floor. It was built in 1929 and has been untouched since then. It’s literally like stepping back in time. They have “Dive in movie” nights on Friday and Saturday nights (family movies) and they are VERY popular. If you want a spot in the pool then I would recommend getting there early. I really can’t say enough good things about this hotel. From the staff to the convenience of being close to almost everything, this is the best hotel that we’ve stayed in while in Chicago. We will definitely be returning!
