Our family of 4 plus dog had a great stay. Easy drive into Chicago. The neighborhood is very quiet and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Interior of the house is nicely done with newer appliances and 4 bedrooms with queen beds in each room. Would stay there again. The grill was missing a propane tank but that was minor and Host offered to bring one for us.
We stayed here with a group of 8 women. The house was super clean and in a quiet, safe neighborhood, which we appreciated. The two upstairs bedrooms were roomy, and the bathrooms were a decent size. We especially loved the back deck â it was a peaceful spot to sit and have coffee in the morning. The space felt a bit tight for eight people, and the kitchen wasnât well-stocked for a group that size â it was missing some basic bakeware. Toilet paper and other supplies were also limited, so be sure to bring extras just in case. Laundry detergent was provided, though, which was a nice bonus. There werenât any clear checkout instructions, and a heads-up: donât park on the street â we ended up getting a ticket. That said, Bart, the host, was super helpful and quick to respond whenever we had questions, which made things easier. Overall, even with the few minor things, we had a good stay and Iâd stay here again.
