« Très belle chambre avec un grand lit et une salle de bain moderne, mais je pense que nous avons été surclassés. Spa complet (contrairement à ce qui est écrit sur le site Hotels.com, nous n'avons pas été facturé pour notre visite au spa). Environnement intéressant. Petit déjeuner correct. Juste un petit effort à faire en ce qui concerne le personnel qui pourrait être un peu plus agréable, sauf au spa où la personne était très aimable. »

« I turned up quite late in the day and was welcomed to this lovely B&B. Beautiful views around the property and the rooms and breakfast area have been decorated to a very high standard. But the best bits are the bed/bedding and the breakfast. I stay in 80/90 hotels a year a this is the most comfy by a mile. I overslept but they still put breakfast on for me later than planned. I will be visiting again. Lovely host and staff beautiful setting. »

« Stayed one night when attending a wedding in the castle. Can only recommend on my visit. Looked after by Cathy from arrival until breakfast next morning. Had dinner at Crown hotel a few mins from hotel and 10% discount on food was applied for hotel guests. Mind flash the key fob to let them know before the bill is on table. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast was served and tea/ coffee top ups were no trouble if asked for. Recommend the Kirkstyle if staying in the area. »

« Hébergement très pratique. Je voyage à vélo. Il a plu toute la journée, je suis arrivé trempé. Malgré cela, j'ai pu rentrer le vélo mouillé dans la chambre. C'était très appréciable. Et pour les commodités, le petit déjeuner est servi dès 06h, ce qui est très pratique quand on fait des grandes distances. »

« I really enjoyed my stay at the Strathaven Hotel. Staff were wonderful and helpful (probably the best at any hotel I have stayed at). The room was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable (I slept soundly!). The breakfast was included and there’s nothing like a Scottish breakfast! I will definitely return!! Well worth it! »

« a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended. »
