It was a pleasure to stay in this privately owned caravan. Kelly was friendly and helpful when communicating. The caravan was immaculate and a pleasure to stay in.Highly recommended
On entering sign says take your shoes off. Took shoes off and had wet socks - carpets must have been washed and were still wet!The fridge/freezer is actually an under counter fridge with freezer box! The door shelf was broken at bottom too!The windows were very drafty, the plastic bits that hold the handles in place were missing on nearly all windows, we put cardboard in them to help stop the drafts. On opening the grill we were met with a grill tray and rack with fat on it.The shower room was actually dirty with mould all over the bottom of the sides (photos as proof). The toilet had black by the rims, the shower had black bits all around the sides of it. Disgusting, they actually came off while you showered. Being retired and disabled (which owner knew) we did our best to to clean the whole room. The shower is very compact and every time I showered I touched the door - Iâm only a size 14 so not massive. No shelf / cupboard in either shower room or w/c so nowhere except floor to put toiletries!Bed dips in the middle. No dressing table in bedroom and no bedside lights to read by.2 smaller rooms beds are like sleeping on springs. We tried them all.The seating in living area required pillows to get comfy.Windows were dirty so I cleaned them inside too.Parking outside the van is a free for all.Boiler goes out, electric trips out. Owner told me to get a knife to open electric box! Reception sorted for us.
Spacious caravan and on a nice site but unfortunately we wouldnât return to this caravan mainly because of the smell and cleanliness was not good, I understand itâs dog friendly but when we arrived and during the whole time it smelt like dog urine really strong and we noticed there was urine stains on the carpet, we did go and buy several cleaning products to try and get rid of the smell but it just would not budge, however it didnât smell in the bedroom areas it was the front room that was the worst, the sofa was also broken and just fell apart with nails sticking out the side every time we sat on it which was quite dangerous with my small child, the fridge was also over freezing everything to ice frozen so think that needs adjusting
Sorry I donât like giving negative feedback but have to be honest .. maybe we got unlucky and had guests staying prior with a dog that just wee everywhere in the sitting area but the smell was awful, however if things are fixed and carpet and sofa is deep cleaned it would be a nice stay, as the site is very peaceful, duck ponds, lovely small childrenâs park and the veranda is a great size, check in was easy to access the keys etc
Beautiful surroundings. Instructions to obtain key would help to put box at caravan. Dead moths everywhere in caravan.plates etc not clean as well as front of fridge . Run out of gas had to change over ourselves with instructions from phone.
No internet which was advertised.
As our first holiday away for a long time we used veranda a lot which helped make the holiday
I hired x2 caravans from Kelly , this was the larger 3 bedroom one for my son his family , myself and daughter and dog. It was perfect very clean well equiped and warm and within sight of the 2nd caravan. All contact with Kelly was efficently responded to and very straight forward. We all had a fantastic weekend visiting relatives using this as a base. Would recommend site and Kellys Holiday Caravans. Mary
There is light out in the living room the back if the remote control for the fire was missing and a hook has fallen down from the back of the bathroom door. These did in no way spoil our stay but just to let u know it was like that when we arrived.
