4 day trip to visit our grandchildren

The house was exactly as listed. The property manager was fantastic and quick to respond when I had a question. I would definitely recommend this rental and would stay here again.

Not for long term

My husband and I stayed for almost a month while we closed on our house and, while the house itself is nice and clean, it’s lacking the supplies needed for a longer term rental. We had to buy kitchen supplies (a cutting board, tupperware), almost all the knives were dull, and had to run the dishwasher almost every night because of minimal supplies. Since this is run by a company we had higher expectations. The other major downfall is that it’s behind the Tennessee welcome center and trucks are constantly driving through and parking behind the house. There aren’t blinds or curtains on some of the windows so we felt uncomfortable with the trucks in our direct line of sight. Plus the constant highway noise but after enough time you get used to it. The front door has a code lock that can be reset at any time by the company and multiple cameras out front. This house is great for someone who has pet allergies because the floors are hardwood (there is carpet upstairs) and the furniture is some type of leather so fur and dander doesn’t stick. Also we were able to keep our RV in the driveway with no issues, there clearly is not an HOA in the neighborhood. Clean overall and the hosts were very responsive. Large fenced in backyard for dogs to run around in (but not a privacy fence just FYI). Not a terrible stay but the company should definitely update the kitchen and put curtains or blinds on the kitchen windows. I would also suggest a deadbolt or something that is controlled only on

Exactly what we needed

We needed a pet friendly home with a fenced yard and room for 6 people (two couples and two singles). The upstairs game room provided a nice second area for lounging and a fourth “bedroom.” Easy access to Rte 24 was a plus for us as well. My only complaint: the day bed in one of the bedrooms was awful. However, there was a trundle under it so we used that instead. Overall, this house was exactly what we needed for a great stay.

Great stay

Overall the house was smaller than I’d imagined, however, there are 3 bedrooms on first floor and a large loft upstairs with another bed and a sofa. Not much extra seating in the living room, but we made it work. So it fit our needs. Place was clean and we had no issues. There were some minor issues in communication with the property managers about a discount that had been offered, but once I sent him screen shots of our conversation, they made good on it by reimbursing us (still pending) when we receive our deposit back. Crossing fingers. We stayed there twice and it was good. There is a rest stop just behind the home off the interstate that was always busy overnight but the noise didn’t bother us. We didn’t bring any pets but there was a small pet odor, just slightly as it is a pet friendly home. All in all it was a good stay.

Great stay

The home was as listed. It’s a pinch smaller than what I imagined but still plenty of room for family. Upstairs loft/game area will be great for my son and his buddy during our next stay. The only downside is that it backs up to the Ky/Tn rest stop area and there’s a lot of noise from all the semi trucks. Other than that, it was great! The owners/property managers were great to deal with and check in was easy. We are returning in a few weeks for another stay and it’s comforting to know this was a great house that’s clean and comfortable.

We stayed with our dog and 3 grown kids. The backyard was large & fully fenced which kept our dog safe and gave her plenty of room to roam. The large sofa in the living room was perfect for the family to hang out together. Our grand-kids really enjoyed playing in the upstairs bonus room and there was a large sofa and bed up there too.

Very disappointing

I wasn’t going to leave a bad rating but it has been a frustrating situation with the hosts. We rented the house for 8 days and it cost us over $2,500 for rent. $2,800 with deposit We were there for our son’s wedding, this was the only house we could find for the dates. It was a non smoking rental but We walked in and it was overwhelming with the smell of cigarettes. Someone had been smoking in there so long it was in the paint. I let them know and they said they were sorry and embarrassed. It was so bad it gave me an instant headache and my grandsons were coughing and sneezing the whole time there. (It caused the one with asthma problems). They finally brought an air freshener to put in the vents which did no good. The house was not extremely clean. Black handprints on the shower wall and cabinet in the master bathroom. The floor in the kitchen was caving and we were afraid we were going to fall through. The stove’s heating element would not stay on because the pan was not the proper one so you had to jiggle it. The spare bathroom’s sink would hardly run water and the toilet would not fill. The master bathrooms toilet ran unless jiggled. The spare bedrooms were extremely hot and we had to borrow extra fans to just make it where they could sleep. Even with the ceiling fans and extra fans it was very hot. Two of the smoke detectors began beeping and one was in the locked garage and they had to come in the house to fix it. (That is understandable) The kitchen only had an already used sponge to wash dishes,not a new one. I was just going to give a good rating because the location was good and when I contacted the people they would answer. But When I had left, I left my car key in the house. I asked them to look and they found it. I asked if they would mail it to me and they texted;“Ma’am if you would kindly leave us a good review, we would appreciate it. I’ll get that in the mail shortly after. “ A week passed and no key and they said they were out of town. When they were back in town and they said the house keeper has it and was off. Finally they said my son could come get it out of the mailbox (12 days after checkout) Then today I got notice that my security deposit was pending but it was $25 short. I asked why, he said his house keeper had to drive 60 miles round trip and I was charged. They held my key for a good rating then charged me and didn’t mail it. Now instead of $10 for them to mail. It will be $35 once my son mails it.

Great property and hosts - will use again for next visit

Hosts were personable, attentive, and quick to respond. No issues at all while staying at the property for seven days. Home had everything we needed during the stay, including a full size washer and dryer (which was nice to have). Close to the I-24 which made getting around easier. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Everything was clean and organized. Easy to check in. One issue we had was the stairs and my mother-in-law. I would suggest to the owner to consider putting in a ramp with a handrail to accommodate senior adults.
