« A wonderful place to stay for a family holiday in the Lakes. Not easy to drive to so good for people who want to do lots of walks and exploring in the area. There is a beautiful waterfall only about 15 mins walk from the house. We also went swimming in Brotherswater. The view from the house was amazing and the house itself was very well equipped with plenty of games and books available. »

« The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. The house is spacious and cozy at the same time. its clean and had everything we needed, loads of fridge and freezer space and washing machine and dryer. spent plenty time and the big back garden. we stayed for a full week, and was able to go on trips within an hours drive. there is a big new play area, 2 min walk from the house near the store. its brilliant for age 3 and up. the store has everything you need and the cashier was very helpful, which is great bc even...

« This property is OUTSTANDING. Utterly beautiful, amazing location, a real show stopper. I booked this as a surprise for my family and they were blown away. The views were just amazing and the house itself is so grand. The garden is lovely to sit out in and enjoy. There's also a fantastic walk in the woods just at the back of the property so you can get stuck in straight away without having to worry about parking. We can't wait to visit again. »

« We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended! »
