Great Host / Mediocre AccommodationsWe were disappointed in the accommodations overall. The unit was not taken care of - the walls had old alcohol stains, damaged doors and vents etc. It was clear that this is a unit they've had problems with people mistreating in the past. But with a 1500 damage deposit required, I would have hoped those items could have been repaired before accepting a new occupant. Additionally, the unit was under equipped with kitchen necessities. It didn’t have enough cooking utensils to make a simple pasta dinner or enough plates to eat off of. Lastly, the unit advertised that it sleeps 6 people. The “sleeper sofa” in the main room was barely big enough to sleep one person AND there was no bedding for it. additionally, there were only 4 towels in the unit (even though the unit is made for 6 people!) We also had a lot of trouble with the thermostat, which made the unit either very cold or very hot. Overall, it was just a very uncomfortable unit to be in for the weekend.HOWEVER, the host was really responsive and attempted to make everything right during our stay (including troubleshooting the thermostat in the middle of the night). If the unit has been painted/repaired, and you have 4 or 5 people in your party, its a great location for a weekend in Cleveland. We walked to the Browns game and had a great time. The host gets 4 stars, the unit gets 2 stars.
