Disappointing property with good location

Flies in the kitchen, A/C not functioning and it was a 90+ degree weekend, some disrepair of kitchen amenities. Could be a nice rental, as it has good location BUT needs inside attention

Clean house and close walk to RTA Red Line

First, my husband and I and small dog would stay here again. Few blocks walk to Red Line, which connects to airport on one end and center of town on other. Comfortable neighborhood with brewery and market. Good for walking dog. Park in front of house. Backyard is nice to sit at night or drink a cup of coffee in the morning. Back bedroom has comfortable bed. Sofa and chair in living area are comfortable, too. Large TV. Coffee pot was clean and came with sugar, dry cream, and coffee filters. Dish soap and hand soap provided in kitchen. Con: Blinds in back bedroom still broken. Half of the blinds for the sliding glass door to backyard are missing and door glides are very dirty and need to be cleaned. Dangerous makeshift step to backyard. Backyard is not completely enclosed. Gate that was once there is missing. Inside, 4 chairs at table, but 1 is broken. The microwave handle was broken off. No hot pads for oven. TV in upstairs room has no remote. Bathroom included a bottle of shampoo, but no shower soap. We always bring both, so not an issue.

Great location

Property was in a great spot. Few lights didn’t work but we were able to make do. A box of Kleenex and maybe a tea towel would have been nice. Fan in living room is hanging. Was clean with comfy beds and pillows. Centrally located for seeing the flats or west side market or progressive field.

Not ready to rent

When I arrived there was water on the floor in front of the broken dishwasher and the washer and dryer wasn’t working, no batteries in the remotes. When I called property manager, I was told the previous renters didn’t report the issues. When maintenance arrived, he said the dishwasher was broken and he ran an extension cord to plug in the washer dryer. Not sure it would pass code.

Fun Time

Overall, we had a very nice experience. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us and the beds were comfy. I do wish there was more dishes available in the kitchen and the air conditioner unit downstairs only minimally cooled the rooms. Great and quiet area that is walking distance from a bunch of fun breweries!

Great Potential but property mgmt is not doing their job.

Location and beds great. But mgmt has a kitchen water leak that has not been dealt with...you could slip and fall, chunks of flooring peeling up and warped, get soaking wet socks, etc. There were many things missing from the kitchen and not even any kitchen towels nor hot pads. Liability nor safety is not on their mind as there also isn't any smoke alarm nor have they dealt with sharp screws on broken microwave Resolution from them for issues never offered. Detail cleaning needs done! For the basics in the kitchen $75 for them to buy.

Great location but not best property

Walkable to West Street Market and restaurants etc. Good beds and pillows. would benefit from TLC to make it homey. Especially the garden for upcoming summer. Uncomfortable couch. Previously reported issues not actioned, eg, no fire detection, cooker won’t light without matches or lighter - could be provided. Blinds missing and broken in back bedroom. Adequate.

Nice little house in cool Treemont area

House had everything you would need. Small fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog to go out and plenty of streets with cool new construction to go on a few walks. Nice living room/kitchen to hang out in yet you can go to quiet bedrooms to call it a night. Two downstairs bedrooms and Upstairs loft with two beds provides plenty of sleeping areas. Walking distance to West Side Market and W 25th restaurants and short drive to Treemont establishments. Would visit again!

Great location especially for a downtown conference. We grilled- we cooked and just relaxed after work - maybe not the fanciest place but didn’t expect that and we enjoyed our stay.

No communication

The actual property was fine. Online pictures were an accurate representation of what the property was. The issue was the total lack of communication with the property owner. I have stayed in many rentals and typically do not need to communicate much, but when I do communicate I expect a response. There were things that were broken and did not work when we checked in to the house. I wanted to make sure the owner knew this was the condition when we arrived, but no confirmation. We had outside meter power issues and Cleveland Power had to come into the house and re-wire the house panel. I let the owner know and still no communication. Not really the customer service that I would expect. I will never rent from this owner or property manager again. I have heard bad things about online rentals, but this is the first time I have experienced it. If this was my first time doing this type of rental I would probably never do it again. Not impressed at all with this owner.

location to the downtown area was good.

It was fine for our party, but the rear blinds were broken. The blinds near the sink kept falling down. The last night we tried to do some laundry, but the washer and dryer did not work.The one bedroom door had a hole in it when we got there.

More Cons Then Pros

The Beds were comfortable, however the rest of the furniture was as hard as a rock or unsafe to sit on as it was not completely put together . Upon arrival there were bags of dirty linens on the front steps that remained there the entire stay. My brother in law cut the grass as the only comfortable furniture was in the backyard and that was an overgrown mess. The kitchen had limited cookware and dishes . A place that advertises they sleep eight should provide enough dishes and utensils for 8. The mostly empty cabinets were beautiful and looked newish , however the Handles were falling off and the doors did not close correctly. The location did not feel like it was in the safest area.

CLE Ladies Weekend

A girls weekend is our reason for visiting Cleveland. The property was sufficient and had all we needed. Management was very responsive when questions were asked prior to arrival about specific items the property supplied. Bedding was clean and comfy. Parking available on street in front of property. The location was close to all we planned to do. We used the kitchen to cook some morning meals. We were very happy with the property and our stay. We would come back.

Trip to CLE for wedding

Overall a good experience. Pluses: - less than 5 minute to West side Market for great food and drinks. - house was clean and ready to occupy, never even needed to contact host for anything - close to freeway system so easy to get to our destinations Negatives: - furniture was not comfortable, seemed like sitting on 1” foam covered over plywood and upholstery. - several cheap LED bulbs in bathroom would constantly flicker like strobe lights, need to be replaced
