« I can't say enough good things about our stay at this Marrowstone Waterfront Cottage: spotlessly clean, great host who was very responsive, easy check-in. The view is incredible, from the deck and from the interior. Tastefully decorated, a full-sized kitchen, and an open floor plan add to the comforts. It's a short drive to Port Townsend. « My wife and I and a friend spent nearly a week at Oyster Lodge mostly under completely blue skies and little wind. We enjoyed the privacy, the spa, the commercial gas stove, the huge kitchen, and oystering on the beach. The large propane grill was perfect for cooking oysters in the shell. We also went clamming at the nearby WDFW tidelands near Quilcene. The 100 steps down to the beach were a little challenging, but we all made it on several occasions. « The wife, dogs, and I stayed here to unplug during a rainy Memorial Day. This property is special! Felt like we were transported back to the 1800s (but with some key comforts like baseboard heaters). We enjoyed zoning out to the crackling fire and looking at the tides go by. »

« If you're looking for the perfect place to relax and get some perspective on life, this is it. If you're fussy about every little detail, maybe this isn't. The awesome view, the privacy, the sauna, comfortable beds, great wood burning fireplace, all the important things are here. It's very rural, so as you might expect, the decks were covered in leaves, pine cones, broken branches, plus quite a few cobwebs throughout the house, things we read other renters complain about but don't bother us....
