« The room was clean and very compact, it lacked appeal but had most of the amenities you would want at this price. There is no interaction with staff at all as self check in, the heating wasn’t on although the radiator in the hall was hot, one curtain hardly covered the window, my room,2, was at the front of the property so people leaving the pub were talking loudly at 11.30/12pm and then again at 1am which woke me up, the shower was good, the wash basin so tiny you couldn’t get the tiny kettle...

« Excellent breakfast, well presented with good choice, lovely owners, nothing too much trouble. Everything was top class in every aspect. Decor, dining room, bedroom. Coffee/tea etc was always replenished without asking. They had really thought everything out to please guests. This hotel was in easy walking distant to all facilities. Could not fault it. The nicest hotel we had ever stayed in. »
