Casa Jabali provides an easy walkable location to the main beach in Santa Teresa, as well as restaurants and shops. It's a block or two from the main paved road. The home isn't brand new, and could use some minor maintenance, but it's beautiful, and you can't beat the location. Everything you want is walkable. Worth noting: 1. The dust. The road this property is on is gravel, and traffic up this hill is high during the day. The decks, and patio area collected dust throughout our stay. We swept them or rinsed them off ourselves to try to keep it clean. If you open the three sliders on the main floor to allow breeze in (since the main floor is not air conditioned) you'll be allowing that dust in. If you're not planning to spend time there during the day, no big deal, the sliders stay closed, and no dust collection on the interior. This wasn't ideal, as certain days we wanted to spend time lounging at the house during the day. Something to be aware of. 2. Construction. There is a large property being built behind this home, and the workers start at 7 am every day. This is a short term annoyance, and since they are nearing completion won't be an issue long term. I wish construction would have been noted in the listing.For the dust, I'd suggest a sprinkler on a timer to water down the road during the day to reduce dust. (locals manually do this for their own properties)Overall, we loved this place, and would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to Ximena & Jose!
