„The bathroom ceiling was lined with thick black mold all around. Ceiling fan in bathroom is filthy and not working. A gaping hole in the bathroom wall filled with kleenex or toilettepaper. The taps were not secured and bolted or caulked. The shower tap is not installed correctly and doesn't turn off until you hit that perfect spot. The shower curtain is neglected and filthy and old. „We attended the theatre in port hope . And golfed twice in the area. And enjoyed two fabulous meals downtown. Did a little shopping and walked around the marina.The coach house has lovely layout .We were greeted with the sweet smell of lilacs. "Avoid this hotel at all cost. We spent two nights here and wanted to leave right after checking in. We had booked one of their superior rooms, which was a big room, but the room wasn't clean, the bathroom wasn't clean, we found hairs, dust and overall dirt all over the place. We didn't take our shoes off because it was so dirty, our socks were immediately dirty after walking through the room. Not sure where the retreat and spa part of this hotel was, there were 2 whirlpools and a sauna, but we didn't feel comfortable using them because we had no idea when they were last cleaned. If someone visits this hotel with a blacklight, I don't even want to know what they'd find... Breakfast was a joke, an 'avocado' toast was somewhat of a supermarket-bought avocado cream, no taste at all. We prefered driving 30 minutes to the next town for lunch and dinner, because it was that bad. Would not recommend to anyone, what a shame!"
