« All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. I would guess this is a rare event and suggested to...

« The property is extremely clean and very comfortable. The double bed in particular. The road is very quiet and leads to the promenade passing the local Coop. Its easy to park at the top of the road free of charge. The lounge area is full of light and has a large comfortable corner sofa. I would definitely sray again and would recommend. I didnt like the lack of basic store cupboard items such as oil, salt, pepper or milk. There was tea, coffee and sugar. »

« Great location on the beach, 2 minutes walk to the High Street. Clean, comfortable and spacious (4 people) with a lovely sun room overlooking the beach and harbour. Parking is a bit tight, but we managed even with a large van. Only criticisms are lack of soaps/shampoos for the showers and no paper towels/tissues supplied. However, this seems to be the norm in Scotland and may be just my North American expectations not being met. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of. »

The appartment offers everything you need, although we would have appreciated having more toiletttissue and tabs for the dishwasher. The location is fantastic, being almost on the sea front with spectacular views out to Bass Rock.The house had everything we needed, with a large well equipped kitchen and two lounges.We chose Guillemots because we needed ground floor living accommodation for Mum. Whilst she managed the ground floor room with en suite, it isn't particularly set up for a disabled person, and so anyone doing similar may need to take grab rails...

« This place was lovely. Clean and bright. Instructions to get in and once inside were very helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the 3 bins of glass bottles, mostly alcohol bottles that were over flowing onto the ground outside the gate, in the parking lot. They were there the day we checked in , already overflowing and only got worse as we stayed for 4 days. They should look into that because otherwise this place was everything we wantes while on our vacation. Lovely!! »

« What a hidden treasure we found in Dunbar! We ended up spending two days just in Dunbar as we loved the area. Having my morning coffee on the balcony where I was entertained by various birds, then going to sleep with the sounds of the ocean through my window, was perfect. "The view of the golf course is beautiful. The diner was very good. Staff at the restaurant is very helpful Breakfast is a bit disappointing considering the standing of the establishment. Nothing bad but not fantastic. Also when we had supper, there is no price on the menu except for drinks. That was a bit disturbing. Finally, we arrived a bit early as we flew in from Canada. We were very tired but the room got ready only at 2:30pm, which is exactly the time when it is supposed to be ready. I cannot fault the establishment but I would have appreciated some gesture to expedite the readiness of the room. The room is very quiet, there is a nice old library and rhe garden is simply magnificent. All in all, it was a very good stay and a beautiful scenery. But I think a bit overpriced for what we got. "
