Ideal location. Condo was great. Pool’s were fabulous and much needed in the afternoon. We did experience an issue but the property manager handled it immediately. Communication from them is excellent.

We had a lovely stay at Pacifico. The unit was well equipped with beach and pool equipment and the balcony was beautiful! We spent most of our time enjoying the privacy and views of the balcony. The bed was comfortable and then t was nice to have laundry facilities. We would definitely stay there again!

Unit in need of repairs & updating. Couch springs are shot, dishwasher is nasty - full of scum, it’s really old & didn’t clean dishes. Shower tiles need replacing, pretty grungy. Fridge shelves are broken, toaster oven missing a foot so wobbly. No dishcloth, only one tea towel. Washer was dirty, dried soap & scum. Beds & towels in good shape.No broom or mop to clean tile floors. Only 1 wineglass & it was cracked. Property management firm brought some right over. In hindsight we should have asked for a different unit. For what we paid it was very poor. Not our usual VRBO experience. Pool & pool bar & restaurant were great.

Pacifico (Playas del Coco) is the place to be!

Fabulous stay in Pacifico. Unit is perfectly situated near the main pool complex and the pool bar. The unit itself was clean and spacious. The separate Pacifico Beach Club on the water is a huge plus with separate pools, beach and great restaurant. We had a car, which we needed for excursions, but not if you are just staying in Coco, as nearly everything is walkable.Communication with the property manager was good, especially when the safe wasn't operable when we first checked in, and they were very attentive to fix it. But it amazes me when a property manager doesn't take the time to leave any welcome information. I've stayed in the area before (not Coco or Pacifico), but anyone new to the area may have a challenging time finding restaurants, grocery stores, etc.The listing is slightly misleading saying there is no "fee" but a minimum spend for the Beach Club. There is a 35/person fee to use the beach club, of which 25/person is credited to a food tab. Still, the net 10/person fee you pay is well worth it for use of the lounge chairs, which cost more at other beaches.

Ideal Location

Greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. Was a great location close to grocery stores, restaurants, shops and nightlife. The management company was top notch, responded quickly and was extremely helpful and accommodating. They helped rent us a golf cart, which was perfect to get around Coco in. Pools were beautiful and well taken care of. Would definitely stay here again!

Costa Rica Relaxation Getaway

We had a wonderful experience at Pacifico in this unit. Rich Coast was excellent to deal with and always responded quickly, at any time, if we had a question or problem. After hearing experiences from another group visiting with another company and the issues they had, we realized how fortunate we were to run across Rich Coast. Until next time!!

Great Stay!

We stayed for 2 months and the unit was perfect for our needs. The location was great. Being right by the pool was perfect. Unit had practically everything you could need to cook, which we did often. The neighbors were friendly and nice. Rich Coast Vacations were great to deal with on all levels. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Convenient to everything

We stayed 10 days. Took morning walks up the hill to find the howler monkeys and ended up finding 2 different groups. One of the groups had an infant with it so that was really fun to see. We used the “fun” pool numerous times during our stay and the water was always warm and clean. We could walk to just about anywhere, except Playa Ocotal, we took a cab. There are two grocery stores close by, but we preferred the Mega Super which is across the main drag from the property. As for the unit, it was very clean and well equipped, unless you like to cook…the knives are extra dull and the large frying pan needs to be replaced…but hey other than that the kitchen had every appliance or utensils you could need. About 3 or 4 days in we water dripping from a light in the master bathroom ceiling. I contacted Rich Coast and they were quick to respond. They weren’t too concerned so neither were we…Pura Vida, I guess. It was a little inconvenient as we couldn’t use the light as it was also connected to the light in the shower. Other than those few minor issues, our stay was great! We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Great Place

This was our first time using VRBO and convinced us to do it again. The condo was exactly as described and contained all the amenities that I would expect in a high end resort. All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly and provided great service. In particular, the bar staff at the pool were always there when we needed them. As this was the off season, the pool area was quiet, but we met and had conversations with many of the individuals and groups that were staying there. We rented a two bedroom condo as my daughter lives in Costa Rica and we had them join us and stay over for a night. Arranging for them to come was easy working through the concierge group to get the appropriate security. The location of the condo is excellent as it is about a 5 minute walk to a grocery store and about 6 minutes to the closest of the restaurants on the main street of Coco Beach. We ate at the condo for breakfast and lunch but went out for dinner. There is a wide variety of restaurants close by and I would have to say that each and every one served an excellent meal. One thing to be aware of is that food can be quite expensive in the restaurants, and with prices presented in the local colonies it is easy to spend more that you might have expected. Overall we had a great experience and would certainly go back.

Safe, secure, and super relaxing

If this is your first visit to Playa del Coco, this is a great place to stay. The condos are spacious and the amenities are at your fingertips--from the pools throughout the complex to the restaurants and exercise room on site to the "expat" grocery store just outside the main gates. This unit overlooks the pool area but the palm trees and other vegetation provide some privacy. (If you want an even quieter location with easy pool access, consider building 8.) The 1/2 mile walk to Coco Beach is easy, although if you have someone in your party who finds walking on uneven road surfaces difficult or you are carrying beach gear, you may opt to use a golf cart or car. Only 30 minutes from the Liberia Int'l Airport, this is great landing place acclimate to the climate/time zone and to start your CR adventure,

Property as advertised

Usually, when on vacation we stay at Marriott brand hotels since I have ambassador status. However, we decided to VRBO this trip. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and location of this property. Also, the property management team (Jennifer) was amazing. If you want a well kept property in prime location, then this place is for you. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway in paradise setting!

Well appointed condo with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lovely patio with table and chairs overlooking gorgeous gardens and pool. Really enjoyed the facilities. Quiet. Close to town, groceries, restaurants, perfect place to getaway to. Loved our stay.
