Upon arrival the place had a smell that was not pleasing. There was mold all over the upstairs. Window sills, patio doors and several other places One of the bathrooms had hair in the sink, water in the tub, stains on the floor, and cabinets all mis aligned. The A/C must have been left off while no one was there and turned on the day before they were expecting us because the thermostat read 81 degrees when we checked in at 4. There was a noticeable temperature difference from the upstairs to downstairs. Mirrors were dirty and cracks were duct taped. There was tape on the floor in random places. I got a headache from breathing in the moldy air I couldn’t spend more than 15 minutes inside without feeling sick. It was unsafe, unsanitary, and a health hazard to whoever would have stayed there. Vrbo did issue a refund but it was a MAJOR inconvenience when I was expecting to spend the weekend there with friends and family who were driving hours to get there. The owner had mentioned the cleaning crew was just there but this house was disgusting, and needs a LOT of work. The pictures did not match what I walked into. I couldn’t wait to get out of there.
