« Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. »

Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). »

« We vacation in the vicinity of Acadia every year with family. Growing up going to a cabin of a family friend in Sedgewick, she sold her property a couple of years ago. « We loved our stay at Rocky Woods Cabin. The setting is just beautiful and our four year old grandson loved climbing the big rock in front of the porch, picking blueberries and exploring the woods. We grownups loved our campfires coffee on the porch and listening and looking for birds. Our daily and easy to spot visitors were cedar waxwings, brown creepers and hummingbirds.
